Awesome food, came in during one of the windiest days I’ve ever seen in search of some good escape and food. Though chilly, the employees were chipper and all smiles! The server, Izaiah, had some excellent customer service, and brought our food out in no time. Can’t wait to come again!
Ordered breakfast for pickup. Server was pretty nice and it was quick in and out but if I wanted a tiny portion of soggy overpriced hash browns I would've gone to McDonald's. Not what I expect when I'm paying $16 for a meal.
I've been to other village inns before and this one is one of the better ones. The waitress was efficient and on the ball. The food was very good and came out hot. Always happy when the food comes out looking good and it did. When my meal came out, the person I was with said "wow, that looks good ". Already went back two days in a row. Was happy with what I got both days. I would say this is a very good place to eat at.
We love this place.. there's one person here who shouldn't be working at night because he seems to want to sleep instead of work. Otherwise amazing people and food
Friendly neighborhood restaurant. Best Village Inn I've been in. Menu was varied without being overwhelming. Food was great. Service was friendly. And prices were more than fair. They give a senior discount.
The Village Inn was like a moment back to the 80's. A comfort choice for sure. As I walked in I noticed a few customers enjoying their meals.
Looking around as I was seated, I noticed the old style seating, bench tables and the glass display case full of a variety of delicious pies. So yummy! ????
The menu is simple and both sided laminated in a hard plastic and kinda sticky.
The waitress was delightful and charming taking my order promptly.
I ordered the Double Decker Club sandwich with a cup of Tomato Basil soup.
In my mind I pictured, thick sliced bread with mounds of meat, bacon and tomatoes with thick mayo. ????
When the waitress brought my food over I was so excited to see what I was going to be eating. Closer and closer as the waitress walked towards me, she sat down a plate with a sandwhich on it and my mind went WHAT? Not what I wanted to see but I ate it. It was better then what I though it would be. ????
The cup of soup came out on 2 plates in a small cup with a pack of crackers. The soup was good but did have a high tomato paste flavor. As I ate more I could taste the basil and by then the soup was gone.
The prices for the meals were great as the food reflected the prices.
I did notices that they do a great deal of takeout orders. Great place for quick comfort foods and affordable prices.
The service was slow. Took the waitress 15 min after I sat down to get a drink order. When my supper was brought to me the mashed potatoes were cold and I mean ice box cold. When it was brought to her attention and she brought me another side of it, it too was cold. I was comped the $4 for the potatoes. Steak and toast were good though.
Good food but great service. Ladonna is the best waitress. Very friendly and can make anyone smile. Need more waitresses like her!
