Village Inn is a local favorite, and having just moved here, I can maybe understand the attraction. It's mainly all sugary comfort foods, but they do breakfast all day. The waffle I had was very light, and though I ordered it dark brown and crispy, this seemed to be ignored and I got a waffle that was almost mushy. The ham and cheese omelet was great, cheesy, made with three eggs, and with plenty of ham. The hashbrowns were dry, and hard instead of crunchy or crispy. They have Pepsi products, and whole pies. I might go back to sample a pie, but otherwise I can say I've been there and be content with that.
I am simply impressed with how wonderful all aspects of this village inn was. The eggs were cooked to perfection. The steak was cooked perfectly. The Fresh Fruit was also fresh! Tanner was our Server and she was delightful! I really liked her personality while she joked at the same time!! The Manager was nice and held nice conversation with my husband after we ate. The hostess was also very warm and welcoming! This just might become our Saturday late breakfast stop! Thank you for also having extremely clean bathrooms!!
We were seated quickly and our orders were taken within 5 minutes (restaurant was empty). The food arrived hot and the quality was good. Things started to fall apart when I asked for a to go box and our free pie because it was Wednesday. I asked our server first off, but never saw him again. Finally, someone brought our pie over, but still no to go box. Asked the third person and finally received the to go box. When we got to the cash register, there wasn’t anyone around. After approximately 10 minutes one of the employees coming on duty, came up to the register to cash us out. I had requested my pie to go, and when we got home, I was very dismayed to open the container of apple pie and find Apple slop. Seriously folks! Apple pie should be one of the easiest to send home in a to go box. Lots of room for improvement!!!!!
Eggs not cooked right ordered over medium. They came out over easy at best. Coffee cup was half full never offered a refill. Saw our waiter three times. Once to take the order once to drop off food and once to take our check.
First time in Colorado and my buddy I was visiting had us eat there for breakfast. When walking in, seemed like I was going in an IHOP. Service was attentive and food came out fast. Picked the meal where I could pick three different items, so got the cheese omelette (added veggies for a price), french toast, and the crepe. Everything tasted good.
I absolutely love this location and crew! Samantha made sure she had me and my sister taken care of like royalty and Joe's grits ???????????? breakfast ???????? heaven???? I recommend this location full staff and crew ALWAYS!! LOVE LOVE LOVE ????
This place is so much better now than a few years ago. Cyndi is such a awesome employee. She's always in a good mood and just very nice to interact with. Thanks for being awesome Cyndi.
It's exactly what you expect, the food was great and not too long of a wait. I will say they only had one server who was very busy but doing a good job.
