Best KPortal Reviews
The WiFi is absolutely horrendous, if your “WFH” it’s practically impossible to hold a conference call. Also the phone signal in the rooms is one bar and lucky to be able to send a text message. They really need to sort their Wi-Fi out to be able to provide a full great service to all. You can also see straight through the windows if you are over the car park. Zero privacy.
Difficult to find as in middle of building site. Just off Motorway but sign hidden by trees. Quiet location except when gym is open playing loud music.
Rooms seemed clean, tidy but quite small
Pub not busy mainly staffed by youngsters but inexperienced in food allergies
Leisure club is well kept, good facilities, sauna, steam, jacuzzi, pool. Pool was really busy & noisy with kids lessons. No bands available for lockers and towels are chargeable
Overall, an excellent hotel with good room sizes, clean rooms, and helpful personnel, located between residential buildings. If the hotel has a pool, you must pay £5 a day to use it if it is not already included in the lodging rate. Breakfast is served from 6:30 to 9:30 AM.
We went for a themed night (disco) with a 3 course meal included. The staff were lovely and the atmosphere was great. We had a fab night.
There was a lot of choice on the menu, and nice to see some healthier options on a menu. The Bean salad that I ordered had a piece of plastic within it, the server was not able to take it off the bill but provided another drink instead. Another person in my party had out of date steak that had to be returned and a completely different dish served as that was the last steak. We were then provided with some drinks and the glass was smashed at the base. Sometimes there was floating bits within a lager that was served there too.
Craig and his staff are unbelievable, friendly, professional and a true reflection of the brand.
WORDS FAIL ME FOR HOW DISAPPOINTING THIS PLACE IS. DIRTY GLASSES, THAT HAD TO GO BACK. FOOD WAS SENT BACK 3 TIMES AND IT STILL WASN'T AS PER THE MENU DESCRIPTION. NO WHITE WINE, NO PINOT, NO SAUVIGNON, OFFERED A REFUND OR THE ONLY WHITE AVAILABLE - IN A DIRTY GLASS.
ONLY USED THIS STAY FOR BREAKFAST.
PLUS POINTS , OLDER STAFF ON DUTY WHO GAVE BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE!!
NEGATIVE FEEDBACK FELT THE QUALITY OF THE BREAKFAST HAD REALLY DROPPED SINCE LAST STAY !!
NOW DOING STREAKY BACON WHICH IS NOT AS NICE !! SAUSAGE TASTED CHEAP !! ORANGE FRUIT JUICE MISSING AND THE CRANBERRY REALLY TASTED WATERED DOWN !! FRIED EGG COOKED TO ORDER WASNT COOKED PROPERLY...
PRETTY POOR !!! ENDED UP LEAVING IT ..
