First time here and definitely won't be my last. Great food, great hosts, and great prices.
Food is always great at this place. Been our favorite Vietnamese restaurant when we moved to IL. Place is clean and spacious. But lately, I’ve noticed their serving is smaller than before and I was surprised that they already charge you a 20% tip on your bill!! To be honest, we were not even asked not once if we needed anything or if our order was complete by any of the servers when we last ate there. We gladly give out 20% or even higher if we were happy with the service but we stick to 15% tip even if it was bad. But charging 20% directly on the bill?! Maybe we were a family of 5 that is why they charge us 20%?? Not sure. Might be back for take out orders only. I love pho! ????
This place has gotten better over the years. Although menu has gotten smaller, the food is delicious and more consistent. Everything from the appetizers to the entrees tastes great. Very few restaurants makes me want to try the entire menu. This is one of those restaurants.
The only downside is that it's cash only, but luckily they have an ATM in the restaurant.
Good food but customer service probably needs to improve. I've been to this place several times before but only to order food to go. Today is the first time we ate at the restaurant. There's five of us and the total bill was reasonable. Food was good in general but I was told the pork chop was hard. I always order the Kalbi beef and it's always good. Pho as expected was good. Fruit smoothies come in different flavors. I've tried several flavors and I could say the taro, avocado and mango are good but their green tea and strawberry flavors could be better or maybe it depends on who's preparing. In general, I would still recommend the restaurant and there's no long wait time on a Saturday night compared to the other three restaurants we checked before coming to Pho House.
I ordered pho with steak fillet to-go and couldn’t eat any of the meat because it was all fat. Other than that everything was good.
I don’t often leave reviews, but this place is great!! Fried rice with beef and pork was delicious. Staff was super friendly and they even played great music. Super clean and great decor too. Any lunch where I can listen to Cheap Trick and the Foos is a good lunch haha.
Went here for mother's day. Delicious pho and spring rolls. We got two smoothies as well, so many flavors to choose from. Great place, we will be back.
I have picked up vegan pho from there a few times and thought it was delicious! The guy who handed it to me has been friendly. The restaurant is not close to my home but is worth the drive. I plan to keep returning.
