I visited the coffee shop on a Sunday morning and we ordered items off the seasonal menu. We were blown away with how tasty the drinks were. I’ll definitely be back here and wish I would’ve found this place sooner. One thing to note is I ordered my drink with oat milk and it was made with regular milk. Luckily I asked before drinking.
Cute coffee house with vintage esthetic! ☕️ Iced mocha was yummy ????
4/5 ⭐️s cortado was slightly bitter. I had been expecting it to be more smooth.
A slow paced spot for coffee, I can imagine it is tough to compete with the Reserve down the street!!! If anything, avoid lines, and have a coffee at Victrola! ☕️
Very friendly staff. The single origin drip was very tasty, nice berry notes. Good space to work in but there was a strange aroma near the door where I sat. I would recommend this place for anyone who actually wants a good coffee. I'd recommend the drip, black, or plain espresso - the quality of their coffee itself is good.
Stopped for coffee here - great coffee. Tried their cherry rose latte as well - it was delicious, not too sweet! For non-Americans, they had free wifi!
I stumbled upon this gem near the Starbucks Roastery and decided to give it a shot. The barista recommended a Cortado, and it was a fantastic choice. The coffee had a robust, rich taste, perfectly balanced with beautifully frothed milk. It's a must-try for any coffee enthusiast!
Homely, simple furniture with a lived in feel. Feels like the living room at your “out there” aunts home.
Had a filter coffee which was lovely, clean and without bite and a chocolate scone, baked in house that was pleasant, though a touch dry to my taste.
A strange aroma was hanging around at the time which prevented me from giving it 5 stars, but overall if you’re looking for coffee, with a simple selection of foods, this is a place to go.
I like your coffee shop much much much less now that dogs are not allowed (in the pike st location, at least). Why did you think this was a good idea? I have been going 3-4+ days a week to get coffee from you for the last six or more years. Now I do not go at all because I’m upset about this decision. When I worked close to the 15th st location, I specifically went to visit my dog friends there at 10:15am. The coffee is good, but I question the direction you have decided to go with managing this brand lately, for reasons beyond just the dog thing. It used to be a fun place to go and now it smells like fear inside your shops. The new manager at one point quarreled loudly and terrifyingly with me when I was simply trying to understand a change in how I had been told the “buy ten” cards worked. I am happy to comply with whatever a local business feels it needs to do to succeed, but if there is a change, you should expect to tell people, not for them to just “know” because the way it was explained to me five years ago doesn’t make sense to the new folks. I really tried to keep going here and it gives me anxiety now, and it makes me sad to see the changes. Try the vegan bagels or Tacos Chukis in Capitol Hill if you want something local and good.
Came here out of town because of really great reviews and recommendations. I really liked their coffee but more Importantly than that was a very lovely and friendly staff. Got myself a cortado and two bags of single origin. Really neat to look over the coffee roasting plant just on the other side of some windows separating it from the dining room. I myself also appreciated the lack of political propaganda in the window and store. As much as I support much of what is going on in the world today, it is nice to find a place that allows me to escape and separate for a few minutes while I wake up to a nice cup of Joe.
