First time here after watching it being built and open for some time. Somewhat upscale fast food if there is such a thing. The menu is aplentiful criss-crossing traditional American with Mediterranean and Mexican favorites. She was craving a spicy chicken sandwich, and I had the Jefe burger with a PBR. While nothing has yet to top Popeye's Spicy Sandwich in my book, the chicken was still pretty good. My Jefe burger was delicious, but the excessive avocado ???? made it messy. I shared her fries, and it all came up to just over 30 bucks. I didn't like that the touch screen required the cashier to get involved if you didn't leave a tip. You get charged, and someone calls your number to pick up your order. Nothing extra. The interior is beautiful and clean. I am curious about the rest of the menu. Some of the choices I saw other customers make looked amazing.
Would’ve rated 5 stars except we were freezing ,and we’re visiting from Minnesota! It felt like the A/C was working overtime and fans were running as well. The cold made it a
bit hard to enjoy our meal. Stopped in late night for a quick bite and we weren’t disappointed. Super clean and friendly service. Nice food and drink options that are very tasty and reasonably priced.
Late night stop to get great food. Staff was friendly and prices were affordable.
Decent diner spot in Logan Square area. We went to the nearby Chicago mural and wanted to try hot dogs for lunch; this place fit the bill. Everyone got what they wanted. I ordered veg dogs and honestly they weren't terrific. This and many places offer a veg option but very few take the time and effort to ensure their option tastes good. These were rubbery and flavorless. The abundant hot dog toppings, real dogs and salad we ordered, as well as fries and fingers for the kids, were all good. Also happy they had beer special for tap beer. A few other guests were present for lunch but not crowded at all. A food insecure person came in asking for free food and the staff were very kind but didn't give him any (I was impressed because often these types of interactions can be very negative). Another patron purchased a meal for this gentleman. He was not nearly appreciative enough - acted like he was entitled to it - but I am sure he had mental health issues and I was moved by the kindness of the fellow customers. Not disruptive at all - a touching moment. Not sure this would be our go-to spot for hot dogs but it worked for us to sit and have a relaxing quick lunch.
This place is amazing. The Caesar salad was fantastic and the gyro meat is delicious. It irks me that I have to tip before my meal but fortunately everything went great. Will definitely come back to this hidden gem!
This place is delicious,we just walked in while going to Jules down the street smells great just passing by
We had the gyro plate and chicken tenders ,this place is pretty small but awesome place kinda like a modern/old-school diner vibes
Food was very good but just wish portion were a little bigger but over all great food and great staff
A fantastic place to go if you can find it in your heart to appreciate non tippers (who placed their order after yours) waiting 10 minutes on their large/complex order while you've been standing around 45 minutes waiting on your very small/simple one. They were cool enough to refund me after i said something (had i not I'd have been there until close. Only reason why i eventually said anything). Won't be back.
I have to agree that the food at this place kind of sucked. The staff were great, and the area is spacious and clean, and it's great that they are open late. however the hot dog was tiny and even the French fries which are forced upon you sucked. relish seemed to be doused in green dye chemicals...
