I stayed at the travel lodge next door and enjoyed a great meal whilst I was away with work.
I was on my own and seating me wasn't a problem. All staff were very friendly and attentive.
I had the nachos to start and sirloin for main. Both were very good and the steak was cooked perfectly. If I was local I would definitely be returning! Highly recommended.
My husband, son and myself stayed in the area for a week and came here in our first night. We ended up coming back 3 times! Food was really good, huge portions and beautifully presented.
The Sunday roast was very generous. Big pieces of beef and all the trimmings.

What a cracking find, we came to Cornwall for a holiday and were looking for places to eat. We had several places booked but we saw The Victoria Inn on the way back to our lodge and popped in. We never looked back, we canceled other bookings and came to this place for our entire stay.
The food is outstanding, excellent quality and portion sizes are perfect. Staff are very welcoming and friendly, atmosphere was perfect is well.

Popped in for a quick lunch before an appointment. Really lovely atmosphere, great service and lovely staff. Food was amazing ! Especially the halluomi fries. Will definitely be coming again and take our time to enjoy what this lovely little pub has to offer.
Called here to eat on a holiday to Cornwall and had to go back a second time as it was so good. You can take your dog her but only into the conservatory for meals. The staff were very nice and pleasant and they served the food quite promptly. There were seven of us, and everyone really enjoyed the food and desserts, especially the sticky toffee pudding, the apple crumble was the best we have ever tasted
Just popped in for a bite of lunch. Great service, young Sam was very polite and looked after us well. All the staff were very friendly. Food was lovely and the atmosphere was very welcoming and everything was nice and clean.
My wife wanted a carvery so I searched on Google for one with good reviews and ended up booking a table for 4 here.
We each had a standard carvery and unfortunately it was awful, the turkey was dry, the gammon was super salty and the beef gristly, the stuffing was like a small paving stone, the cauliflower raw and the potatoes not cooked. The parsnips were edible and so was the Yorkshire pudding but for £59 we left disappointed.
To top off a bad experience my daughters turkey had a large black hair in it which I believe was the guys hair who was serving the meat, the staff quickly replaced the full plate but by then my daughter felt sick and didn't want to put any of the food in her mouth.
Our plates were taken full of food and no questions were asked, when I asked for the bill we were passed a card which asks for you to review them on Google, I did say to the young lady you probably don't want me too but she said they have to give them to all customers, so here is my review.
If the owner reads this, my advice would be to acquire a new chef as these mistakes with the food only require very basic cooking skills.
