I've used this garage several times and Chris the owner is always helpful. He's sensible and I think reasonably priced. And I'll be using them again.
Arrived unannounced, 250 miles from home with a disturbing grinding sound coming from nearside front wheel. Car had been serviced and mot'd at home before the trip. Chris, at Victoria Garage, saw us immediately, put the car on rolling road brake tester, put car on lift and pin-pointed the problem in seconds which was a piece of road grit/flint trapped between the disc and caliper. He cleared it using compressed air, would not accept payment and is a thoroughly nice man. If local to Chard, I would not hesitate to use him and can recommend him 100%
Whilst on holiday from Hungary, the throttle cable on our little Fiat broke. With a 10 day wait for the correct part, they fixed it as good as new using a bicycle brake cable. So...great communication, out of the box thinking and fantastic service. Would highly recommend.
