We LOVE Charcoalburger when we pass through Glenwood Springs!! Always a great experience! Their fries are my favorite…and they even have veggie burgers:)
5/5 great good and great service!!! Stopped here during our stop in glenwood and would highly recommend this place for a bite! Ordered the Buffalo #3 and it was really good! Regular cheeseburger was also good! The onion ring fries were no joke they were exceptional!!!
Holy moly what an experience!! Our hamburgers were absolutely delicious and we've never had better onion rings! My mouth is watering just thinking about it. Not only are the flavors spot-on but the burgers and onion rings were cooked to perfection. Kudos Chef! The parking lot was full so we found a beautiful place to park along the river. The color of the trees were absolutely beautiful! Divine food and a beautiful setting with my sweetheart. Life doesn't get much better than that! ????
I was given a recomendation to visit CharcoalBurger by a friend and it didn't disapoint, as long as you want a real hamburger. It's a through back to old time outside dinners. All seating is outdoors and you order at a window. Although I arrived after 1 o'clock there were still cars blocking traffic just to grab a burger.
We’ve been stopping here since the 70s for great grilled, smoky-tasting burgers! The service will be slow during peak hours. It’s great that they’ve added a cute log cabin in back and a shady seating area under big cottonwood trees, because the tented area becomes super-hot in summer—why it’s not ventilated is a mystery. Adequate counter service inside. Get a burger with their original smoke sauce, so good!
Came here hungry, and still didn't enjoy it. The burgers were dry, and fries were dry aswell. The shake was good though. Only 4 cars in front of us in the line and still had to wait 15 minutes. For 45 dollars, spend your money someplace else.
Small whole in the wall spot! It's a must try if you're in town or driving through glenwood springs.The burgers are made fresh to order, The cheese curds are a wonder! Got the # 1 with American cheese. My wife for the #5 also with American cheese. We both split a single order of cheese curds. Can't wait to come back to try more items.
This place is awesome! Great variety of meats for your burgers, which I highly recommend! My personal favorite is the elk burgers. It can be difficult to cook elk properly and it is not tough or gamey, but Vicco's nails it every time! They also have delicious milk shakes. You won't be disappointed with this drive in.
