Popped in to pick up fish and chips after a walk, fish freshly cooked, had small chips as we can't finish a normal size. I gave in and got myself a ferraro cake for dessert. The fish and chips were excellent as usual and the cake was divine, my new favourite. Staff are always pleasant and polite. Definitely the place to go for fish and chips.
By far the best fish and chips around locally. Not too much batter, fish wasn’t oily. Fish itself is always nice and flaky.

This fish & chip shop is possibly the best one in Cleveland.
It was taken over about 3 years ago by the current owner who really knows his stuff and offer a great range of food options, all of which are well cooked and presented.

Read about the f&c shop and was intrigued to see what was like and was not disappointed. The fish (haddock) was perfectly cooked and the chip's delicious. Reasonably priced and excellent service. 10/10!
Called in for post beach walk fish and chips. Our food was cooked to order and the fish was delicious, breaking up into large bright white flakes. There was a good choice of options and we came away with the impression that the guy who served us, really cared about his food and customer service. Happy to recommend, it's well worth a five minute walk from the beach.
