Had a great time here especially with the Steam Fair on????️ the boys really enjoyed themselves! There's such a selection of shops and little places tucked away that I have never visited before! Lucky to have places like these in Basingstoke!
Excellent food, excellent service, staff really friendly
This is a nice place to go, however there isn't a lot there that was open when I went on Saturday. Two lovely little shops selling variety of gifts and home items however jewellers closed unless you have booked an appointment, and the art studios all closed. The is a refill shop, pot painting and of course the community centre (excellent facility), and great tea room, however don't expect to spend a long time there.
A must place to potter. Some lovely individual businesses offering some amazing products and a cafe on site. There is also a miniature steam railway but check before going on opening times. The hall can be hired, it's a good size, in fact there are two on site, offering good kitchen facilities
I expected it to be one community center, but as soon as you drive in you can see different businesses and stores set up. Everyone in each shop was so lovely. You've got sustainable living, an old sweet shop, pottery painting and more! Very spoilt to live in the area
Great sweet shop and cafe (sorry it is more than a cafe). Both absolutely great service and reasonable pricing. It was good to see them all trading off one another too good for business and strangers whom don't the venue
Went to The Parlour Tea Room. No space to sit inside so shivered at an outside table. Vintage tea and coffee cups. Great selection of cakes and sandwiches. Friendly service. Would visit again in warmer weather or book ahead.
Visited the miniature railway for a second time. Both the kids and I oved it, very friendly staff, rides are only £1.50 for the train and £1 for the traction engine. Loved the smells.
