Really good, the cheesiest thing I've ever tried to eat, impossible to grab a slice cleanly ???? I'm not complaining tho I love cheese. This is a 4 cheese pizza, it's medium and was only $24. If you're in the mood for a delicious pizza, come try this place. You won't regret it.
Via Chicago is true to its name. Their pies are legit Chicago style. It's more like eating lasagna than pizza. The sauce is good. Toppings are under the cheese and sauce. The crust has a croissant quality to it due to the butter. We ordered the "meaty" and a Artichoke & Parmesan with chicken. The meaty has Isemio's Hot Sausage...but it's not hot. I wouldn't order it again. Most of our group liked the chicken one better. Be prepared for a wait. We also had an order of garlic knots. Our group liked them but I would have preferred garlic bread. It takes them 40+ minutes to bake one. They have about a half dozen beers on tap are a variety of soft drinks. They also do pizza by the slice. Check out my profile for more great eateries and cocktail bars.✌????
Awesome Pizzaria! Deep Dish Chicago style that is soooo good. Their Beer selection is top notch and is/was a quiet adult venue.
I had the Italian beef sandwich dine-in and brought home a pie. The peppers on the Italian beef were great, but the meat didn't have the spice level I'm used to and prefer. But the pie I brought home was another matter. Finding good Chicago style pizza anywhere but Chicago is hard. So many come close, but this one was dead on perfect, even reheated! It had just the right amount of everything, and the crust was amazing.
Review for delivery via Grub Hub ONLY. Pizza 20 min later than projected, luke warm (at best) on arrival and looked like it fell sideways off the drivers seat with all toppings shifted to one side and top of box having grease stains. Get it yourself or eat it there.
The pizza was great!! It’s like a thin crust pizza with an inch of cheese and toppings. Great balance of sauce to cheese, with a crisp crust, that made an amazing consistency. To top it off, daily desserts and cannoli!!!! I had a Lumencello Marscapone Cake and it was absolutely delicious. Thank you staff for an amazing meal, see you soon.
Walked right in and was helped immediately, they make the pizza as soon as you order it, and with them being authentic deep dishes it takes a hot minute. Ordered the artichoke pesto, wonderful taste, makes the wait super worth it! Highly recommend the garlic knots! Prepare the roof of your mouth because it comes out HOT! But it tastes so good! And when you pull the pizza you get that cheese pull.
Brought me back to when we visited Wrigleyville and stopped in a couple of pizza places there.
The absolutely best deep dish pizza I have had outside of Chicago.
Yes it takes a while to get your pie, but good things come to those who wait. Have a beer, actually talk to a friend while you wait for it to come out of the oven.
They have a decent selection of beer and cider on tap, plus a double cooler full of more stuff and non-alcoholic drinks also.
We will be going back for sure, a bit of a drive for us but well worth it. After all need to try the Italian Beef sandwich some time to see how Chicagoan that is right?
