Best KPortal Reviews
This place is great. The menu items feel fresh and healthy. I like the selections and the ability to make your own stuff. I’ve been 3 times now and will definitely go back. The items can add up so make sure you’re aware of the process of the sides. I feel good after eating there. I really like the braised beef. This last time I got the “hash-hash” and the “chicken+grains”. Both were very good while being very different. It’s self serve so don’t expect service.
Went to vessel kitchen with my wife. It was a pretty good little spot. Whole foods, locally sourced, and lots of good flavor.
I had the braised beef with cauliflower and Brussel sprouts.
My wife had the chicken breast, Brussel sprouts, cauliflower, and ordered an additional side of the Thai carrots.
My 2yo had Mac and cheese.
I enjoyed my food other than I felt the braised beef was a little bland and slightly dry.
My wife loved her food. Eating there was her idea so obviously she knew what she enjoyed. My 2yo's food was good.
Be aware that they dont so fountain drinks due to the nature of their goal to have locally sourced and better for you options.
Drinks are per can or they do have good tasting water.
I would eat there again but would probably try a different protein option.
We love Vessel! Their food is such high quality for the price point. It’s amazing to be able to get intricate dishes made with fresh, quality ingredients at such a reasonable price. The food is delicious and you still feel great after eating it. Our favorites are the Cam Rising bowl and the chicken and grains bowl. The Peruvian green sauce is a must. Amazing!
Our first time eating here, last week we tried during the weekend for dinner and it was too packed so we tried again yesterday around 6pm and it was not too busy. Service was decent. Restaurant clean.
Signature dish Cam Rising bowl 4/5 shredded chicken was not dry, sweet potato hash and some green sauce was tangy and herby (wish the sauce had a creamier element would def enhance the flavor of the dish)
Roasted Chicken 4/5 super healthy portion on the smaller side
Mac n cheese 4/5 great flavor and texture could be cheesier
Mashed potatoes 5/5 one of the best we’ve had. Creamy, fluffy and golden.
Only complaint is the portions were decent but on the smaller side so we came home and ate more. My fiancée and I are from Texas and to be fair it’s true that everything is bigger in Texas, you never leave any restaurant without being fully satiated.
Great option for a quick, healthy meal. Not the most seasoned food but I thought the combo made it great! The chicken was well cooked, the brussel sprouts were delicious, and the mac and cheese was decent if you added some salt! They had our food out within minutes of ordering and we were able to sit and chat for a while and enjoy the atmosphere.
Ist time here. We really enjoyed the food.
The restaurant was freezing!
The tables were dirty too. Would be juice to have someone clean up the dinning area.
Food.
We had......
Falafel tacos
Avocado toast
Choose your plate creation of Falafel, sweet potato hash, and Brussel sprouts.
The tacos were really good. The flavors of everything was perfect. The falafel was crispy outside and still moist (controversial word. I know) but it needs to said. Add a lemon wedge to this dish.
The avocado toast was like Texas style bread and a loaf of avocado with a good drizzle of olive oil and lemon wedge. Use the lemon wedge. That's what it's there for.
The plate was also good. Good clean food. I get on falafel kicks and this was a good fried falafel. The Brussel sprouts were grilled nice (wouldn't hurt to add balsamic to these) the sweet potatoes were also good.
I'd recommend it.
Just when I thought that food might become boring... Vessel Kitchen reimagines tastes, colors and textures. Delicious. We were brought here by a local and hope to return next trip. Loved the cup sign.
I arrived at this healthy restaurant with the goal of getting the most unhealthy, fattening meal possible. I got close with the grilled chicken, mashed potatoes, and Mac n' cheese. Everything tasted pretty decent, portion size was a little light for $18.
