I had the pleasure of meeting Chris and Javier at a gas station. When I saw there shirts that said Veronas, I asked a few questions and they informed me they worked there and raved about the food. Sure enough they were right. I took a ride to try it for the first time this evening. I ordered the mussels in red sauce appetizer, eggplant Parmesan, and a margarita pizza. The food was absolutely wonderful. The service is outstanding from Grace the waitress, Chris and Javier in the back and John the owner. I will be back over and over. The food is great, the service is outstanding, and they made me feel at home. Thank you guys great job.
This restaurant is tiny and seating is cramped and badly needs upgrading. My eggplant Parmesan sub was dry and had very little red sauce. The pizza was average at best.
After moving here, we had trouble finding a good place for pizza! Thank goodness we found this gem. We pick up pizzas here around once a week-they are delicious! Highly recommend the white pizza, and the classic pepperoni. Garlic knots are delicious and pasta is solid! Thanks for making awesome food! The staff is great too (:
Food was great my daughter and I enjoyed our meals
The crust was so soggy. You could probably ring it out. The peppers on the pizza were nasty, so soggy you'd think they were like five years old. She overcharged us and didn't even ask to correct it. Paid her anyway. Was recommended to go here. I will definitely let him know not to recommend anybody else. I would have rather got tombstone instead of paying $34 for worst pizza I've had in many years. Call Domino's you'll be way happier.
I love this place. Best in town imo. I have been eating here for 30 years. 30 years ago, they were the best in town... The best of 5 choices. Countless places have come and gone in 30 years, VERONA'S is still here! 50 options for pizza and subs today, still the best. You may find a dish somewhere and say it is, but I ask speaking for their entire menu. I tried it all and enjoyed it all. I have referred dozens of transplants without complaint. God willing, here's to 30 more.
Ordered a pizza to be delivered, was much faster than stated. First time trying their pizza, it was...meh...so so...ordered veggie pizza, it had huge chunks of broccoli, canned mushrooms (I prefer fresh), and very watery peppers. Liked the cheese, it was good cheese. Was a bit pricy too. The girl that answered the phone was very friendly, however we probably won't order again.
It's one of the best pizzas in town. Family owned business. The place it is small but totally worth it.
