Best KPortal Reviews

The big party could have been a little quieter. I didn't like sitting so close to the entrance/exit door. There were a lot of empty tables they could have sat us at.
The waitress was the best ever! The steaks were almost cooked to perfection. The appetizers are too big. Great night altogether.
Following along with my friends, we stopped here for pre-dinner drinks and had a very nice time. It's definitely styled as a speakeasy complete with the mural of Al Capone and the required password to get in the door (I missed the password since I wasn't in charge tonight).
Huge bar of spirits with a bartender who put together all sorts of craft cocktails for our group. I'm not usually a spirits drinker so I stuck to easy stuff like Old Fashioned and it was very tasty. We had dinner reservations for elsewhere so we didn't stay to eat.
This is a high class spot for sure.
My husband and I just celebrated our 10 year anniversary. We decided to have a small dinner party of 33 at Vernon’s. Vernon’s made planning a party very easy. From the moment we made the reservation to the end of dinner was such a pleasant experience! Making the reservation was easy and straightforward from cost to menu I felt comfortable and heard! The food was incredible and perfectly cooked for all our guests and the service was the best we’ve had from anywhere! We would absolutely recommend Vernon’s, it’s an incredible experience to share with family and friends! 20 out of 10 would definitely recommend!
The food, the atmosphere, the service; everything is absolutely exceptional every single time. The steaks are always seasoned and cooked perfectly, and the butter that comes with them just makes it melt in your mouth. We got the cinnamon roll bread pudding for dessert and I was literally in heaven.
The servers are attentive but not imposing, so it's nice to have that privacy aspect. 10/10 would definitely recommend going here. Always an amazing and fun experience, perfect for date night.
The Atmosphere and staff were best in class. The servers were very attentive and the ambiance, classy!
Unfortunately the food did not live up to the price or expectations. Elk is one of my favorites however my Elk Chop was cold and had a ton of stringy gristle through out. I could only eat a couple of bites before pushing my plate to the side.
My wife's ribeye had a good flavor, however the quality of the meat was that of an I-hop or Denny's. Very disappointing and would not recommend.
My husband and I celebrated our one year anniversary and decided to come here for the first time. Parking is a bit of a nightmare as it gets pretty busy. We started with the blue crab cakes and they were the best crab cakes I've had in town so far. We both ordered the prime rib and while I had no complaints, we were not expecting them to come smothered in a red sauce as it does not say that on the menu (that I can recall). My husband was a bit disappointed his came drowned in it. I had mentioned my garlic allergy to my server a couple times and I was unfortunately unable to eat my vegetables as they did have garlic on them. The lobster tail was amazing, tasted very fresh and not fishy like most other places in town. We were given a deconstructed Ditch apple pie for dessert that was to die for, we were stuffed at this point but couldn't resist. Only thing I would say is they need new chairs, the chairs at our table were ripped and we were a little surprised considering how expensive the place is. All in all, it was a good experience, would go back for the crab cakes and a whole lobster tail next time.
Went here for my husband's birthday. It was nice! I had the lamb and it was cooked perfect, and even the sides were melt-in-your-mouth amazing. Got a Bees Knees cocktail and OMG was not expecting it to be THAT good in freshness, quality, and perfect temperature. Service was on point as well.
Looovveeeddd the bit of roleplay at the door, but I had no idea it was coming and I froze and gave a thumbs up after the act/rules explanation ????! Prep yourselves for improv, patrons!!!! ????
Advertised as Vernon's Speakeasy, but was sat in their 6855 Cafe for the Cinco de Mayo dinner. C'mon Vernon's you can do better. Atmosphere sucked. The tension inthe room, was REAL. Not very happy patrons. Food was excellent. Service was superb. Portions were small for the price. Plating was slow. We made the best of it, as we always do.
