The food was delicious! The pizzas are excellent and you can order gluten free. The GF pizza is pretty good. We got Hawaiian. The beer flight is a good deal. I recommend the Camp Shandy Shore. The burger is quite substantial. The sweet potato fries are not to be missed. The cobb salad is enough for four people. The atmosphere is pleasant. It was a late lunch early dinner so there weren't many customers. But the bar was busy and the oven was fired up and cooking pizza nonstop. A definite must eat if you're in Rutland VT or within an hour.
We sat at the bar & had a couple beers while we waited for our take out . Bartender was very friendly , and beer selection was pretty good. We got the poutine fries and wood fired wings. Both were good. I’d eat here again.
Build your own calzone was the best option as a vegetarian besides plain cheese pizza and fried things. However the drink selection was exceptional - found a Burlington made hard ginger beer company (Halyard) and loved the hibiscus lime variety!
Great poutine and burger, would get again. The service was decent and the restaurant was clean. I'd gladly eat here again when it Rutland.
Food was excellent!! Just the right amount of spice.
Service was great, up until the food was set on the table. That's when the waiter came to see if we needed anything, but didn't come back to check on us for over 20 minutes. We actually needed another drink and another sauce.
The atmosphere was good, if we were wanting to join the party at the bar. We couldn't figure out why we weren't sat in the dining room; there were 10+ tables and booths.
For starters, the Tap House Wings (Unbreaded, VT Maple BBQ) was fantastic! The Wood Fired Brussels Sprout and the Onion Rings were good as well. For mains, the Tap House Supreme Pizza was delicious! The staff was friendly and constantly checked it on us. Overall it was a wonderful experience!
Very good overall, there are a ton of draft choices and they offer flights which is awesome. Service was great.
All the food was good, but the pizza was disappointing. It was made well, but undercooked. Not sure if this is a one-off, but they really should wait until it starts to brown a little. Dough was cooked at least, but it was very soft. Toppings and crust weren't browned at all.
The smoked wings and the sauce that came with them was especially good. They also give plenty of sauce unlike a lot of other places.
I'll definitely be going back.
It was okay. Lovely ambiance, great decor an amazing selection of craft beer and wood fire pizza. We had a Hawaiian pizza and it was okay but not great. The pizza wasn’t cooked enough, only the top of the cheese melted and the underneath wasn’t melted at all. It had great flavour, the maple was really nice. I would go back but I would ask for the pizza to be well done. The staff was friendly and there is plenty of seating indoors. They have a small patio seating outside and plenty of parking. I would check this place out.
