TOP NOTCH food and service! Very friendly, quick service, and a the food is absolutely delicious! Generous portions and great prices as well! This was my first time here and I wasn’t super hungry but I got a taco, rice and beans. Also tried the chips, queso and salsa. All delicious. And they have Mexican coke bottles! Not a huge restaurant but still seating and tables for 30~or so people. Can’t wait to come back and try more items on the menu. The Carne Asada is AMAZING.
Man oh man their tacos are always super hot and fresh! My first visit I tried a variety of tacos, but el pastor is my favorite. The mild sauce has a nice warm kick to complete the perfect taco.
I have learned to call ahead if I am not eating at the restaurant since everything is made fresh it takes about 10 minutes, still very quick but they can be busy at times.
I can't believe I'd gone so long without trying Veracruz. The menu made things really simple, which I appreciated. The tacos were delicious, especially the chorizo one! We also loved the horchata. Low cost for great food.
I absolutely love coming here for food wether it is for lunch dinner or breakfast. I have been here about 5--6 times now and I just adore eating here. I prefer this place over 99% of other places I have been to would absolutely recommend coming here if you want amazing food.
Amazing and caring owners, excellent food and staff. My favorite place and all of my State Farm friends in bloomington normal. My favorites foods here are the steak tacos, Chipotle chicken burrito, chicken quesidillas, steak plate, rice and beans and their quac is very good????
My family and I just moved from Phoenix AZ and have always loved the authenticity of many great Mexican food places there. I can honestly say that we were very impressed with Vera Cruz Mexican dishes and the awesome flavors.
Vera Cruz will be a to go to place for Mexican cuisine moving forward.

Love this spot. Great Tacos, great Lunch Specials and Combination meals. Solid staff. Friendly environment and really kind staff. One of our favorite spots to visit when in town from Peoria, IL. Don't miss out on coming through !
Incredibly authentic! From the looks inside of the restaurant to the atmosphere within. The taste is amazing. Wife and I ordered the regular steak (asada) tacos, pastor (pork). I also noticed they had tripas (tripes). The tripas were super tasty and crunchy. At the end I noticed they also had suadero. however they only sold them as a plate of 3 tacos. Did not have enough space in me to order 3 more (disappointed at not being able to get one). Wish they had Aguas Frescas. That would have been complete Fest. A good restaurant have at least 2 different kind of salsas. This place had 3 in the table. This place is amazing !!!
