Best KPortal Reviews
It's hard to believe I've lived in London for almost 10 years and never discovered this place before. I am originally from Portugal, and I can assure you it's an authentic taste of traditional Portuguese cuisine. The staff is genuinely friendly, and the food is incredibly tasty! I felt so homesick that I took three soups to go. If you're craving Portuguese cuisine or longing for a taste of Portugal but can't make the trip, this spot offers generous servings at very reasonable prices.
Amazing food! My first time trying Portuguese cuisine, and our eyes definitely ordered more than what was needed by our stomachs. The tapas portion was very good, not too small, definitely order 2 or 3 plates for 2 people first before ordering more. The chorizo, the gizzards are very recommended. Will definitely try to come back sometime!
Best-value restaurant in London! Highly recommend!
Stuffs are super friendly, helpful and efficient.
The food is delicious and comes in big portion.
The price is also very good. For meals cost less than 30pp, we wouldn’t expect to take away food that we are not able to finish.
I also like the idea that they reutilized wine barrel and made it as chairs.
I’m Portuguese and I’ve been there today, I can tell you, the food is soooooo good. It is as authentic as you can get in London, believe me I’ve been in various Portuguese places in Stockwell trying to find a authentic Portuguese place with amazing food to feel closer to home and this is the one…
Tiny gem in Battersea area. Delicious Portuguese food, great service and overall a great vibe. Can recommend the Francesinha & bolo de bolacha.
Make sure the call to reserve a table as the place is small!
A welcoming Portuguese restaurant with good ambience. Delicious food, reasonably priced and excellent customer service. Large portion sizes and good drinks selection. Definitely a hidden gem, highly recommended.
This is the best meal I ate in the UK. People far away on the coast of Portugal cook the same dishes as those on the coast of China. The owner is very enthusiastic and dedicated, and I will definitely have another meal next time I pass by.
We went for dinner at 7.30pm. the place was full when we arrived but didnt get busier after that so we had a nice time throughout the night.
We (group of 3) ordered;
House red wine, and Portuguese craft beer,
Grilled Sardine, Calamari, and Garlic Mushrooms for starter, and,
Beef steak, King Prawn with Peri Peri, and Francesinha for main.
The portion was generous (especially the starters) and they were all tasty. None of us could finished our mains, I barely managed to shove all the prawns. All the dishes came with hot chips (handmade, I reckon).
One of us wasn't a big fan of red wine usually but they liked thier house red wine.
The waiter was friendly and very welcoming.
