I visited Vegan Bar and had a generally positive experience. Initially, the customer service was a bit lacking, starting at a 2 out of 5, but it improved significantly as the meal progressed. The staff became more attentive and accommodating, enhancing the overall dining experience. The food, rated a 3.5 out of 5, offered a decent variety and flavor, making it a satisfactory choice for vegans like me. Overall, it a worthwhile visit.
Wonderful experience! I tried the Lions mane mushroom buffalo sandwich 10/10 literally so good everything I expected, we are newly transitioning into the vegan foods and it was so full of flavor. My husband is tough to please when it comes to offering him vegan substitutes on our transition but I must say he won my husband with the seitan Italian beef. He rated that a 10/10 as well judging by our plates afterward. I think that verifies that rating for sure. The last thing we had was the strawberry banana smoothie and oh my when I say just the right amount of both flavors and so refreshing I mean every word. Amazing place and if you’re ever in Naperville area please stop in and show some love to this business. They definitely deserve it!
Came here for the first time with a friend who is strictly vegan. I eat vegan, vegetarian, and meat. We both got the 6 piece chkn with fries. (Not listed below). It was flavorful, hot, fresh, and crispy. The mushrooms (used in place of real chicken) were delicious and I loved the shoestring fries which were also crispy and fresh. The menu has lots of choices. Small establishment with friendly staff and reasonable prices. Can't wait to go back and try other things.
We loved everything we tried! The staff were friendly, patient and knowledgeable considering that was our first time there. The restaurant is about 45 mins from where I live but so worth the drive! We will be back very soon!!
Drove far for a disappointing experience. Overpriced place. Fries were good, buns were cold on chicken sandwich, hot dog was small, nachos were good. Smoothie tasted artificial. Two tables to sit, music kept stopping.
First off, this is only my second review ever and I'm a huge foodie! I was traveling through the area and was looking for some vegan dinner when I came across Vegan Bar. And WOW WOW WOW! Hubby and I tried the lions mane chicken sandwich w/ fries and the Chicago style hot dog and everything tasted amazinggg and was cooked to perfection with a whole lotta love! Not to mention the fish they so kindly let us sample which was outstanding! The owners were so sweet spirited and the restaurant is so cute, chill and welcoming. This easily became my #1 vegan spot, and it's black owned!! Love love love! Hope to see you guys again soon, love from Gary, IN! God bless!
Just slammed a bunch of food! Reggie hooked it up then cooked it up right. The buffalo sauce and BBQ were on point. The lions mane one of the best I have ever had. Make sure you get the sweet potato fries and the coli flower bites. Good service! Good people! Great food!
Great food! Super nice staff. Clean place. All vegan food. Fresh food prepared right after the order. Lots of parking space. Accessible access.
I was my first time having a vegan waffle since I became vegan 3 years ago. It was amazing! Really good comfort food. I strongly recommend people checking the place out. I will definitely go back any time I am in the area.
It is a small place. You may not have a table available. Plan accordingly. It is totally worth ordering a takeout for home or to be sitting in the nearby park.
