Best Mexican food. I've been eating at Vasquez for over 30 years. I love the new location!
The employees are helpful and friendly. Unfortunately the food is mediocre at best. The name is confusing as well it's not a deli it's a Mexican restaurant.
I love Vasquez Deli. I usually order the Pork burrito with hot sauce. It's very flavorful. The service is always excellent and quick. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Perfect for a lunch break. Prices are fair and the place is clean. Has a place for business cards as well.
I had enchilada with carne asada, I have a picture of a piece of meat, that's how big it is inside the enchilada big chunks of meat (considered when most places you get little cubes). The food tastes so good I went back for a tamale which is also generous in size and feelings.
On a business trip. Asked the counter what I should have if this is the only time I eat here-Ground Beef Burrito. It was good. Love that they serve flour chips, yet they were not warm. Enjoyed the setting and outdoor seating. Lots of takeout and dine in customers while I was there.
Nice place with friendly staff. Husband ordered steak and bean burrito and I had the taco salad. Husband says the burrito tasted great but it wasn't as large as he expected. The taco salad was soggy and mediocre at best. Couldn't finish it. The walls of the deli were covered with interesting pictures and trivia. Bathrooms were very clean and they have free Wi-Fi.
We always get take out with our two littles. They are so quick, so friendly, and so accommodating with differences from one item to the next. The mild green salsa is absolutely delicious, I could drink it with a straw. We lived here for three years before discovering Vasquez Deli and I wish we'd found it sooner....coming from a Southern AZ girl!
Vasquez Delicatessen and Mexican Food is an excellent restaurant in Vacaville. We were in town for lunch, and the restaurant we wanted to go to was closed. So,we looked around and found Vasquez Delicatessen and Mexican Food. The food was tasty, nice portions, freshly prepared, and a pleasant find.
Do yourself a favor and give Vasquez Delicatessen and Mexican Food a try.
