I have eaten at varieties many times over the last months, and each visit has been a delight. The food is always fresh and tasty and the presentation never disappointing. The service is equally as impressive. My coffee cup has never been empty for all the visits at this location. I have rediscovered this restaurant after it has been renovated inside and I couldn’t be a more satisfied customer than what I am . But I certainly don’t want to leave out the unsung heroes, who are the cooks who prepare the food to perfection. Bravo to everyone.
Nice comfort food diner with a decent salad bar. A friend had the patty melt and it looked delicious. Variety's has become a favorite of our church group. I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was. I can't wait to try more menu items. French fries are hand cut.
Service was excellent. Our server was efficient and friendly. The dining area looked clean and the salad bar items were fresh. The price was very reasonable. They graciously accommodate our large group.
I was not a fan of the breaded pork chop and I agree most items need seasoning. However, having an elderly parent, I totally understand being light on seasoning. The home fries were ok.
I was not a fan of the omelette with sausage gravy on top. It was good but I don't think I would order it again. The French toast looked amazing.
I am not a fan of the breaded pork chop or the Swiss steak. A friend had fried chicken and it looked good.
My favorite is the patty melt that I ordered after seeing a friend order it. I made the mistake of ordering it medium which made it very under cooked. My fault. Next time... Well done!
I'm finding most of the items taste the same with very little seasoning or flavor. There are still a few items that I really enjoy. Service is still even.
But be aware if you order a salad bar with anything you cannot take any of it home or your server will be charged for the food. Don't overload your plate!
Smaller restaurant with eye appeal. Food was equally as good. Some of the best beer battered fish I've had in years. To finish it off the price was very reasonable for the amount of food you received.
Food was amazing and you will love the prices! You get plenty of food. Come hungry! The one trip salad bar with the soup large dish, Im tellin you plenty of food. Fish (battered cod) was Wonderful. 1st time here, not the last. We will be back! Highly Recommended!!
Just passing through for 2 nites. Happened to see this family restaurant on the goggle maps app and looked it up. Boy it was a great find will go back tonight. Food was delicious. Nice soup and salad buffet. Prices are very reasonable
Wow what a great place to go with family for home cooked meals. Every dinner comes with soup and salad bar. Then the dinners huge portions and are absolutely delicious. The servers are friendly and go beyond to make your time here enjoyable. I highly recommend this family oriented restaurant.
We tried Variety's for the first time and I really loved it!!! I was craving a salad bar, and was not disappointed. The salad bar was delicious and the soups were delicious, and we tried the patty melt, again, delicious. We will definitely be back . The server was so helpful and nice, and the prices were very reasonable. Thanks so much for a great meal.
Gina is not a good manager. High turn over because she is rude with her employees. Not a good manager for a good restaurant. I will not be going back as a customer for over 10 years.
