It's got an older feel to it, since it is a diner, but the food is pretty good. They have breakfast all day, which is always a plus. The servers are friendly and our food came out surprisingly quickly. The omelettes are huge, as they use four eggs! I left full. Good food and a friendly atmosphere is worthy of a trip back.
Well, since I can't give a rating of 1/2 star; I guess 1 star will have to do. Medium eggs ARE NOT dippy eggs. Any cook with a weeks worth of experience should know this. I ordered medium eggs. The eggs I was served were barely cooked. Oh, and it gets better; the shredded hash browns were just a tad above raw. I didn't eat the eggs at all, and only ate about 5% of the few hash browns that had somewhat of a brownish/cooked color to them! Now I realize that intentionally and deliberately undercooking food relieves some of the work load in a kitchen---also known as 'fast food.' Doing that makes you loose customers. The server revisited my table just once; to give me my check---never even offered more coffee. She picked up my basically full plate and never questioned at all. So I spent over $10 for 3 links; toast and one, (1) cup of coffee. The atmosphere? All I can say is hillbilly music makes me want to vomit. .....and to think I drove past Pete's Restaurant, BK Restaurant for this?????? Never again!
Food was well overdone. We brought 2 other couples with us telling how good food was and tasty. But today you missed the mark. Overdone food was dark and not tastefully or appetizing. Have you changed your chef?
Relaxing atmosphere, clean establishment. Service was great and food was awesome. Families first time going great impression.
The food was great the salad and soup bar was amazing. The service and waitress was really sweet and very friendly and was a very good host. I would definitely recommend eating here with family and friends.
First timer today. Very impressed with the portion, price, and presentation. Food was plated nicely. I couldn't believe the amount of kielbasa in my meal! Extremely generous. Server was very helpful with suggestions. Definitely will be back. I definitely recommend this gem. 02/05/2023 edit: Been doing chicken fried steak for breakfast recently and it's amazing! Definitely a must try! It's not on the menu, so you have to ask for it.
The prices are great, but what really impressed me was the taste of the food. I have never had French toast that was so perfectly cooked. I also got one biscuit and gravy and it was so big, it could have been a meal in itself. The biscuit was flaky and fresh. My only complaint, and it is surprising coming from a diner, is that the coffee was not good. It was bitter. It tasted like decaf, though I am sure it wasn't. It was just not good. Everything else made up for it though.
The food is good but I think it's a little over price. especially if you just want the soup and salad bar. The service was friendly but didn't come back and check on us. I had to call her over to get me some more water.
