Can’t recommend this place enough! I took my Mazda here after a bad accident, and David was great! My car was close to being totaled, but I wanted it fixed, and they were able to work with my insurance to get it back into near perfect shape. They also had a decent loaner vehicle for me to use during the two months they had to keep it, even when I didn’t have rental coverage. I couldn’t even tell the car had been in an accident apart from a small indentation in the front lower grille. They also did a very nice detail job before returning my car to me. Very honest and upfront about the whole process!

Waited a couple months to write this review just to be sure.
I had an unfortunate incident with my fairly new VW Atlas making a sharp turn into a narrow parking structure entrance and scraping a handrail. Rear right door was dented and scratched and the bottom molding took some damage as well. I got quotes from 4 different body shops in the area and Vanguard owner Louie's quote was literally half of the next lowest price (decided not to go through insurance). In fact, I was a bit skeptical as some of the other shop owners had mentioned the corners that can be cut in repairs to lower the price. I almost past it up as to good to be true. However, I can honestly say that after the repair I couldn't tell where the damage had been on the door. Louie also repaired the damaged molding where the other shops said I would need to purchase a replacement (and would have had to buy new as this is a brand new model). Louie is a smooth talker but his work speaks for itself. Turn around time was only two days and his son set me up with a free loner for the interim.
Always good to know a reliable body shop. I had one in the last city we lived in and now I have one here; though hopefully I will never need their services again.

I wish I could give a negative star to the owner Lei Liu of this business. He is a big liar. He charged me for the major tune-up and brake jobs but he didn't replace the timing belt, water pump, and belts. After I found out that he didn’t replace the parts, I came back to ask him then he threaten to punch me then I had to call the police. This owner is unhonest person. Please do not let him repair your car. Beware.
I want to give this place a negative star, not even 1 star. The owner 刘磊 is a big liar. He is not.a honest person. All he wants is $$$. My car did not.have big problem and I just want him to give out an estimate. But after he inspected my car, he made the problem worst. He said a lot things need to be done but this is not true and quoted me very high price than other shops.
After i decided not to fix by him, he started to yelling and ask me to pay for checkup fee. I mean, in the beginning he did not mention there is cost to exam the problem and also he made more damage to my car which made the problem worst. My car is not drivable now because he wants me to leave the car and fix by him. He is doing bad tricks to steal $$ from the customer.
I was referred by my church friend and i think as a christian, you need to be honest. But he is not!!
Best place in the Bay Area to get your car fixed! The owner is super nice and welcoming after I was super stressed about the problems on my vehicle. He quoted me prices well below other shops and made sure I was satisfied after I got my car back!
