Great little breakfast, burger and sandwich place! The tots and battered and seasoned fries are crispy and tasty. If you're in a cabin close by they also have some small food items and necessities so you don't have to drive to town. And they're nice folks!!
Found this gem after hiking with a friend. Lucky me its only 5 miles from my house!! Never knew they were back there! Love this place. Great burgers and fries, and they make their own candles and they smell outstanding. An instant fave of ours.
Friendly owners. The burger was delicious and I couldn't pass on the chocolate cake. The view from the front porch is amazing and makes everything taste better.
Great place for lunch before we went on a family hike. The people running the store were so nice! The food was great. We are glad we stopped by to try it out.
I have eaten at Van Zandt's several times for breakfast and always enjoy the food. Great service from friendly folks! I make it a point to visit whenever I am traveling in the area. They also have a small selection of gifts and goodies for sale. Great view from the porch!
If I could give a negative 5 rating I would. Upon entering the door we were greeted with no less than 4 people saying, "there's nothing here for you." I have never seen anyone so rude in my 55 years. I guess they taught we were tourists even though my family has lived here 191 years. Was hoping to get breakfast for 3 people but I'll go back again. I'll give all my business to Cooper Creek store.
Great bfast and the burger is out of this world. Always friendly and helpful. Denver, the cook, is awesome. Be back every time.
Me, my two kids and my mother are here visiting from Orlando and we stopped in for lunch . We were so pleased with the warm greeting . Everyone was so nice and the food was great ! We had the chicken fingers and the 1/2 burger. We will definitely be back !
