Best KPortal Reviews

We just visited the place today. I got Bún Chả Hà Nội. The meat was dry and not juicy. The chả was chewy but did not have the Northern taste. The meat and chả did not soak in the fish sauce well because there was not much of the sauce. We kinda expected that though because it is hard to find a good Bún Chả. Up to now, I think Hanoi Corner still has the best Bún Chả in OC until we can find a better place. The meat in their Bún Chả is more authentic and savory.
However the pricing was obviously cheaper than other places given the current inflation.
I heard about how good this place was from a couple of people. We decided to give them a try! As soon as you walk in, the place was almost full for a late afternoon. You go sit where there is an available seat which I like. Through all the chaos, the server came over immediately to take our orders. There is so many good choices with pictures and detail descriptions on the menu so you don’t have to guess what comes with what dish. The food came out very quickly even when the place was almost full! The prices are reasonable as I think it is the go to place if you are on a budget. The entire process and vibe reminds me of being in Vietnam. We ordered three items and it all came out good!
The place allows you to come in and have a quick bite or sit and stay as long as you want. When you finish, you go up and pay at the register.
They also sell a little bit of take home food.
I will definitely come back and try their other dishes. If you are expecting a full service 5 star style restaurant, do not come here.
It is just a good overall place to go and I highly recommend you come try it. Good food, quick service, and great value!
This was one of the best Vietnamese restaurants I have ever been too - the place felt very authentic and a bit of controlled chaos. Service was prompt and friendly.
But egg rolls ever! And the noodles with fish sauce were so yummy. Dishes are cheap - under $8
A hidden gem for Vietnamese comfort food. Everytime i am in Orange cnty, this is the place for bun rieu oc. I can eat it everyday, lol. Banh xeo is also a popular choice but i dont think it that good. Reasonable price overall.
My family has been going here for years and it’s one of the best Vietnamese places around here. The variety, taste, price and amount of food you get is great. I would recommend the bun rieu and banh xeo!!
Food are OK, not really special , bánh xèo has too much bean spouts, meat taste terrible!

Came here to get Banh Xeo to go for lunch on a Sunday. It was good but not the best I've had, though I would recommend it. Place had a very long line out the door but that was apparently for people buying other things (not from the restaurant menu). Staff told me to go inside and order separately from another person. I ordered, paid cash, and food was ready in about 10 mins. Pics of menu as of Jan 2023.
I have been to this restaurant before but this time had a takeout. Let me be straight to the points: 1. The crispy sizzling crepes were very greasy but very crispy when I picked up and held up well after 30' then 60'. I reheated them in an airfryer which made them even more crispy and seeped out more oil. The crepes themselves did not taste or smell coconutmilk. 2. The veggies were fresh, clean, and plenty. 3. The dipping fish sauce could use a little more salt or fish sauce because the taste was watered down when combined the crepes and veggies together. 4. The owner lady and cashier lady were not friendly by the ways they interacted with other patrons. Overall, I was more impressed with the packaging which they packed 3 crepes in an aluminum pan instead of Styrofoam which kept them crispy and aired out during transportation, the veggies were so fresh and plenty, well wrapped napkins and chopsticks. I wished the owner and cashier were friendly. It doesn’t cost them a smile to establish a good relationship with patrons.
