So disappointed by the food and the raise in prices. I know every restaurant has raised them, but for the area this is just crazy. Almost $9 for potato chips? $9 for six mozzarella sticks? At a similar bar down the road the exact same product is $4-5. And the food was bland, not any flavor. The brew city fried were good, but other than that, the entire meal was a miss.
Update: We had a wedding in both of the back rooms. Josh was wonderful to work with, and exceeded our expectations. Accommodating for all items thrown our way; he was able to move up the meal time and that the appetizer when the bridal party showed up earlier than expected. As always the food is delicious, the staff in the back make excellent dishes. All 150 guests and cleaning up all of the dinner wear in great time.
Original: A wedding was going on while we visited. While the staff was a little thin due to the event; our waiter was attentive and helpful as much as possible. I highly suggest looking over the weekly specials- that's how we picked up the wonderful Aztec Salsa-. We happened to get the baked scallops , the Italian Burger, and Grilled Chicken Salad. Very generous portions, so reminder to come hungry.
The food was great. The dining room is in a different section from the bar area. No one was staffing the dining area and I had to walk over to the bar to get assistance. They should have a dedicated person to work this area to greet people and help them find a place to sit.
Unfortunately the food, especially the Wings were horrible. We ordered our food to go, from the bar, had a drink while waiting on the food(which was the best part). Got home with the food(we live a block away) wings were cold and definitely were NOT fresh. My French fries were cold, soggy and no seasoning. Would not recommend any food from here. Definitely disappointed.
If I could give it 0 stars I would. We were the first ones in and last to get our food. We got there around 530 and didn't leave until 9. We waited 2 hours to get our food and everyone else around us was already eating. When the food did come everyone had something wrong with their dish. And 17.95 for a LG. Canadian bacon sub that had almost no meat on it but had plenty of lettuce and tomato?! Then for a Reuben meal a large Canadian bacon hoagie and a grilled cheese, before our bill was given a discount was $74.14?!?! For what?! I will NEVER recommend to anyone
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY/TIME! What a disaster our meal was. I am visiting from North Carolina and we decided on The Valley Inn for my granddaughter’s 1st birthday dinner. We were excited for the “wings” and WOAH what a huge disappointment. Firstly, the wait for our food was ridiculous. I’m assuming it was a staffing issue because it wasn’t even full at the restaurant. We all ordered a small cheesesteak and each got a half dozen wings. When the waitress finally brought our food out, our jaws dropped in disbelief. The “wings” were so tiny, like miniature! At one point my son was laughing so hard, he had tears in his eyes. They were obviously over cooked because those puppies couldn’t last in a deep fryer for more than one minute simply due to their size. The cheesesteaks were subpar. A big bun with a sprinkle of cheesesteak meat. This place must be hurting financially because they are definitely cutting corners when it comes to the food quality. Also got charged for watered down Pepsi refills (just one each person) AND for using my bank card to pay for the meal. All of this mess for an $82 bill (three adults, one toddler and our bday girl) PLEASE TAKE HEED AND RUN (don’t walk) in the opposite direction of this place!
Stopped in for lunch. Was not busy at all. I decided to go with the Valley Chimichanga. I also ordered the pot stickers for the appetizer because when I get a chimichanga at most Mexican restaurants, they are not too big. The pot stickers were excellent, and the dipping sauce was great. Sometimes, the sauce is too runny, but this was a perfect consistency. The chimichanga was amazing. It's larger than I expected, and the taste was equally amazing. Very good food and exceeded my expectations.
Rude people uppity they embarrassed me for no reason the way I parked, was not to their satisfaction with no lines marked in the parking lot 11 server saw how I parked. They got the other one to come and laugh at me rude disgusting aggressive Podunk Backwood no class weirdos. I left before I even went in Do you wanna be chastised?
