This was the worst customer service I have ever received. They had my vehicle for 3 weeks and did a very incomplete job, disregard everything I told them. I feel like my insurance company got ripped off as well as me. I immediately drove to the Honda dealership where I will now have to get everything redone and pay out of pocket. Do not bring you car to this place unless you don't need your car for weeks and want excuse after excuse. If I could give a negative rating I would.
I purchased my 2019 Nissan Pathfinder in 2021 in new condition with only 4K miles on it. This vehicle, like all my vehicles is kept in immaculate condition. I needed to have some warranty bodywork done And since there was no authorize Nissan body shops in the Yakima area, Valley Auto body agreed to do the work under warranty. It required the roof panel to be replaced. The body shop had my vehicle approximately a month and a half. When I got my vehicle back on a Friday afternoon and with a quick overlook looked fine. Over the weekend my husband and I began finding scratches, buffer burns & residue and touch up paint all over the side panels of the vehicle. On Monday morning my husband took it back to review with the body shop manager Steve. As my husband was reviewing with Steve, Steve became very defensive and rude saying that the vehicle had a great deal of wear and tear that they were trying to fix. Despite informing Steve we had photos taken by a 3rd party body shop only a couple days prior to going into his shop, showing there was absolutely no scratches or damages on this car whatsoever. My husband has over 60 years experience as a body man/manager and 25 years as an auto insurance appraiser He definitely knew the damages we were seeing were caused by improperly covering/protecting the panels that were not being repaired. This resulted in dozens of vertical scratches all over the sides of the car. The shop tried to buff, poorly at that, and add touch up paint all over my new car! There was now a hole in the headliner which they denied, scratches all over the interior panels were parts were laid, car was filthy since it had sat in their dirt lot in back for weeks, etc. there were multiple delays , several excuses why wasn’t completed when promised. The damages go on and on to the tune of over $9000 our insurance company is now having to pay to repair these damages. Even our insurance company and the new body shop are in awe of what they are seeing. My husband contacted the owner of Valley auto body to see if matter could be addressed/resolved and was rudely treated in a three minute phone conversation that he is just going to just believe his body shop manager. Not even professional enough to arrange a meeting or inspection of vehicle to review our concerns. I would not recommend this body shop to anybody! They were very unprofessional in all aspects of this experience.
This shop was "recommended" since they do "great work", but my car was in an accident back in March and went in from my insurance to cover damages. It has been a little less than 3 months with no movement, we called and sent email after email (they told us they never got our emails but after a couple calls replied to our emails a day later) with no update, since a part is on "back order". We called and they told us that they thought we would be getting the part they needed, we told them that is their job. Why should be looking since they are being paid to do the job. We insisted on even getting after market parts just so we can get our vehicle back. We are still waiting for them to return us our vehicle. This place is a joke, do not go here, go somewhere else for better customer service and faster deliverability.
Completely rude workers. My girlfriend went in for her first accident and being clueless with how insurance works she went in asking for a estimate which the insurance company asked for the day prior. They then started treating her like she was a moron and talked down to her about things she knew nothing of and was only following what the insurance agent told her. I'd highly recommend any other shop.
My car came in from my insurance to cover damages , I just got my car back two weeks ago and now my car randomly is over heating and the coolant is full , super depressing and upsetting. When my cars been here months for work and when I get it back I’m still having issues with it ? What’s the point in paying so much money if I can’t even use my car because the job wasn’t done correctly . Horrible feeling being stuck again!!! And having to open yet another insurance claim !! Don’t waste your time or money here .
I took my car in for an insurance claim. My passenger door had been backed into. I got my car back and noticed greasy fingerprints on my visor and grab bar. The back seat had a row of rust like lines across it. I called back and told them about them. I had to take my car back for them to finish some trim work. I was told they would clean it then.
My car was dropped off and I called to remind them of the stains. She stated that the were "addressing" the problem.
When I picked up my car I noticed my visor and grab bar were clean, so I left.
I stopped for groceries and opened my back door and the rusty looking marks are still across the seat.
I had cleaned my car the day before I initially took it in. I had a couple marks but not those.
I am not looking for a detail job I would like them to clean up the mess they made.
Dear Valley Auto Body, Thank you for the great work you did replacing the antenna assembly on my Toyota Tacoma. Unfortunately, the girl at the car wash broke it when attempting to unscrew it. I took my truck to two independent repair shops; one shop said they couldn’t fix it; the second one ordered an after- market antenna assembly, but after it hadn’t arrived in seven days, called to find out the parts place was unable to locate one.
Next I went to Toyota; they had my car for two hours and then called to say that they too, were unable to complete a repair and recommended you.
You got the job done quickly; your shuttle service was excellent, and I was happily surprised to find my truck cleaned inside and out and looking like new. And the price was about half of what the Toyota dealership had quoted. Thank you for your great service and knowledgeable staff. Sincerely, Linda Prier, Yakima
The folks at Valley Auto Body helped shepherd me through the sometimes bewildering process of getting my rear-ended Toyota Prius repaired. They dealt with the insurance company after my initial claim, they repaired it to "new" condition, and they kept in touch with me throughout the process. Great service...always with a smile. Five stars!
