The service was disgusting.
We ordered six of two different tacos- we got them only to discover they only gave us half the tacos after we paid almost $80. We called the store in advance to let them know and to ask them to make the remaining tacos. We finally get there 20 minutes later and wait. We wait 40 minutes. As we sat in the store we watched how every other person was served other than us. We continuously reminded them of our presence but were still the last people out even when we had ordered WAY before everyone else.
We weren’t offered anything for the trouble other than a soda. Half our order has gone completely cold.
If you're looking for a delicious and satisfying burrito, I highly recommend checking out Valerie's Taco Shop. The ingredients are fresh and the portions are generous. The staff is friendly and the prices are reasonable. Don't miss out on their amazing Guacamole!
Can't go wrong here. Came in after a recommendation, waited in line and several military members and firemen came in to order. If that's not a great endorsement, I don't know what is.
The tacos are much larger than expected, the grilled corn taco shells appear to be home made. All ingredients are at the peak of flavor and the meats are grilled to perfection.
I had the watermelon drink, which is like eating the fruit itself. I definitely recommend the el jeffe taco.
This is not an ordinary taco stand, it is a much higher standard for a chain. I haven't had Mexican food this good since I was in TJ many years ago. Great job, keep up the good work.
Horrible. I ordered online for pick up, arrived at the estimated ready time, and the cashier said someone else took my food. After about 5 awkward minutes she realized that the food she gave to someone else belonged to me. I asked her if they were going to remake it and she ASKED TO SEE MY ID. I snapped back and asked why I needed to show my ID when she gave my food to someone else without ID. She quickly said the cook would make it again. My daughter started crying from being so hungry after waiting another 20 minutes for what was supposed to be a quick ordeal. The lady never apologized nor offered any reconciliation. THEN she TRIED TO GIVE IT AWAY TO SOMEONE ELSE AGAIN! Thankfully that lady was honest and refused the bag, then the cashier called my name and we were able to get our food. What a MESS. I’ve been here a couple times before and the food was good enough, but after this situation I can’t say the food tastes all that great. I hope the employees here learn to do their jobs better and also that sincere apologies can go a long way.
At first I was wondering why it’s like $4/$5 for a street taco. I just thought man California’s expensive, so I bought 3. These tacos are huge, not street taco size, delicous, and loaded with meat! Nice soft corn tortillas, good seasoned pastor. 1 was enough to fill me up, now I have leftovers. Will come again! Friendly, professional workers!
Great taco place! Tacos were delicious. The added sides were also super good. Highly recommend!
Carnitas fry’s were nice and hot! Very delusion
Disappointing That they advertised alcohol on their website but when we got there. They didn’t offer any
I've been looking for one just like this. Portions are great the food is fresh and my mama ain't got nothing on Valerie. Tacos are super sized with big ol pinto beans up in it. Yummy and even more so...after I posted this I realized I gave a one-star review to the other location. So for me it's not branding its location. I still stand by the one-star review. Those enchiladas looked like they had been run over by a semi truck and they were cold. But I also remember the guy that sold them to me and I'm pretty sure he didn't like me.
