Beautiful architecture and restrooms were clean!
Always a favorite rest stop on 101 and I'm extremely happy it's reopened. Facilities are clean and the surrounding area is very scenic.
Great to see this rest stop reopen after renovation. The bathrooms were clean. If driving south on 101 from the SF Bay Area, it is a timely stop.
What a great Rest Area! I was driving alone from San Jose to Lompoc and was ready for a break. I saw the sign and since I haven't stopped at one since COVID I gave it a try. It was a great experience. I got to stretch out (by walking in a park-like setting), go to the bathroom (in a way cleaner place, far better than a gas station), and I didn't have to navigate to a place off the highway or buy anything. Oh yeah and it was a safe and homeless free place. Well Done!!
Recently refreshed all new.
It was a reasonably clean restroom with enough area to stretch your legs and had well maintained foliage.
Probably one of the best and cleanest rest stops in the entire State. It was closed for some time due to renovations but is now fully open.
If you're in an RV these are perfect spot to pull over and take a nap you're allowed to stop for 10 hours max.
