I've had many tattoos done at Upstate Ink by Shane a. I can't thank him enough for the great experiences I had getting a almost full left arm sleeve and several other pieces done.

I’ve gotten quite a few tattoos by Hailey in the past few months and I LOVE THEM. She’s so easy to work with - I send her some pictures, she comes up with something and I always love it. Scheduling is easy and she works with your schedule and its always a nice, relaxing and safe experience. I’ve sent many friends to her and they all have the same experience! Don’t hesitate booking your next tattoo with her!
Chill place great artist! This tattoo was super special to me and I had a vision in my head and shane knocked it out of the park. Definitely a great at understand what i wanted even if it was jumbled this tattoo was on the ribs he was efficient but still got a lot of detail in the tattoo. It's so perfected I was over come with emotion at the finished result! Thank you Shane!
I seriously was so excited to get my tattoo fixed. I had my fried do it when I was 16, so it was pretty much a train wreck. I finally found Shane after years of wanting it fixed. He just went with it and made my idea turn into something so much better than I could have ever thought about. He’s such a great guy, he’s so chill and knowledgeable, even though it was right on my spine, it hardly hurt. He knows what he’s doing and upstate ink definitely deserves more attention than it’s getting. Such a gem right in Ballston Spa.
When considering the idea of getting a tattoo, one has to consider a number of things. I mean let's face it, this is not going to wash or fade away. I won't trust that kind of permanence to anyone but Randy and Shane at Upstate Ink. The quality of their work and their artistic abilities are astounding. I went into Upstate Ink for the first time a few years back and Randy took the time to create a truly unique work of art for my back. He is now finishing my seventh and largest piece yet. I recommend them to everyone looking to get work done. Thank you guys for helping to make my canvas more fun to look at. See you soon for more! I'm not done yet
Shane at Upstate Ink designed and inked my first tattoo, my boyfriend's first tattoo, and all the tattoos we have received since. I also recommended Shane to my daughter for a new tattoo and a touch up of an older tattoo. Shane is professional and a very talented artist, and will design a beautiful original based on your input and ideas. Shane's work is in very high demand, so get on his calendar as soon as possible!
Had a great experience here...definitely recommend Upstate Ink. If you're thinking of getting a tattoo, go see Kevin. Not only did he do a phenomenal job on my tattoo, but he was honest, prepared, professional, and extremely patient with me because I find tattooing to be painful. He listened to what I wanted, made recommendations and explained everything before he started. I love my new tattoo!
