Best KPortal Reviews
Do not recommend this place. Our radio was stolen out of our car while it was there being “fixed” . One of the men (probably all of them) that works on the cars use drugs of all sorts. They promised to replace it then blocked our numbers and we never heard from them again. These people will do anything for an extra buck! Very very rude people there.
Extremely expensive!!! Transmission service job labor $330 to drop the pan, replace the filter and only replace the 4 quarts of pan fluid. No system flush or converter drain. Also fluid is double what I bought it for. Repair Pal averages the same job between $266 and $303 complete. Also $150 in labor to hook up and read for a check engine light code. I believe part stores do it for free? Sticker shock with new owners/management.
Excellent service at a good price! I have a 2012 Ram 1500. I had several bad alignments done at other places, and they found a problem with the caster settings that no other place was able to find and correct - including a Ram dealership. They were able to correct my alignment without replacing any parts. They gave me an alignment and tire balance and rotation for $116.45 - and that was with extra labor to correct the caster problem. Great job!
Total ripoff and don't stand behind work performed!! I wish 0 stars was an option! Very rude as well!!
They are a total ripoff. I took my RV in because a road machanic screw up the battery cables mixed up to the point it wouldn't start it had to be towed to upstate forklift to get the battery cables and generator fixed. They called and said it was ready after a month. The bill was over $1,200 for hucking up battery cables. I picked up the RV it started at unbelievable price. We was getting ready to make a winter move to Florida halfway we stopped and started up the generator it was running but no power to the coach. We came home. I called upstate forklift they wanted more money to finish the problem. $1,200 was to get the battery cables fixed righ. $1,200 plus just to get battery cables for the motor RIPOFF GO any other place upstate forklift is a RIPOFF. If I could given them a negative 5 Star I would. The good reviews come from them to look good when they do nothing but rip people off. DON'T GO THERE!!!!
My wife's car had a window regulator replaced. Work was performed without issue and at the estimate. Folks were very friendly. I recommend checking with them for anything you might need.
This is an amazing company. They are very thorough, and do their best to get the job done. They are family owned, and treat their employees very well. They pride themselves on taking care of each customer, in order to keep their customers' companies running, and vehicles on the road. I have yet to see a vehicle they can't fix. There prices are pretty fair, and negotiable. They also do a lot of community, and charitable work as well. They are patient and caring. They do not do any work without your authorization first. The owners always have a smile on their faces when I see them, and go out of their way to ask their employees about their day. In today's society, this is sometimes looked over, or regarded as unimportant. We want quick, and cheap service; no matter where our money goes. Just know that if you spend your money at this place, it is going to help feed families, support your community, and you will not be disappointed.
1. Had an 8 o'clock appt. Got there at 8. Doors were open went in and manager said we don't open til 8 I'm eating my breakfast. My husband told him it was already after 8 and he had an appointment.
2. Needed an alignment. Mechanic said it needed bottom ball joints. We asked for quote. Same manager "pancake eater" broke down estimate parts and labor. 257.00. We agreed.
3. Mechanic got ball joints in and replaced in about an hour. Then the alignment began.. After 3 hours. Yes 3 hours he came out and said he had to go to different vehicle. Lie number 1. He couldn't fix it, so they had to replace him with another mechanic. After the 5th hour, my husband asked if someone could bring him home and come get him when done. They agreed.
4. Now the fun starts. After being home about 45 min. My phone rings. Mechanic says alignment done but he notices I have a new brake booster box. Yes. I have lots of new parts. His point? Oh well he noticed my brakes were hard when he took it in bay. And now even harder. Lie number 2. I said nothing wrong with brakes when it was brought he needs to figure out what hes done. Says he will have manager call. (Still waiting for that).
5. An hour later and phone call from my husband to the mechanic again, he shows up at door saying he has it fixed. Like he is superman. We asked what was wrong. He said the vacuum cap on the brake booster had "popped" off. Lie number 3. Its a vacuum cap. It sucks does not blow. Admission from him he must have hit it when working on it. I asked then why he told me there was a problem when it came in when there clearly was not. His response. Well I have it fixed.
6. Husband goes to pick it up. Goes in office."pancake eater" who still has never called back, puts a bill down for 697$! My husband asked whats this? He proceeds to tell him he had to put 2 techs on it. Nooo. He had to pull an incompetent mecganic off and someone else had to fix his mess up and then align it. Never got a call saying the price would be triple. My husband said no he was paying quoted price. Nothing except what they agreed was was done. He wasn't paying for an inept employee. "Pancake eater" puffs up and say I'm a man of my word. (I'm still laughing) and takes the 257. After he taxed the labor. Which is against the law.
7. Get home, my husband looks under truck at brake booster box and the cap has been replaced by a piece of hose with a bolt shovwd in it!!! Omg!!!!! Calls ans tells "pancake eater". His response? Really? He didn't tell me that.
8. Next morning I wake up go outside and my brand new tire is flat! They had to remove tires and put sensors on several times because they couldn't get alignment right and had damaged my valve stem. After I had to pump it up I drove to tire place. Luckily 4 blocks from my home and they replace it free if charge. Finally I think! I was wrong. Coming home in bad traffic from a Clemson game that evening, my brakes start making terrible noises like metal on metal. By this point I'm terrified I'm going to lose brakes in this traffic. I luckily get home. Have already talked to aftwr hours mechanic who is very nice but I'm not by this point. He comes out at 930 to work on it and funds the mechanic has bent the dust cover over the caliper and the little hook is scraping. Easy fix. Thank God.
9. I receive call from Dexter Monday morning who is in charge . He listens and apologizes and i tell him I want a refund because I now have to take my vehicle somewhere else because I can't trust them since they sent it home with a hose and a bolt. He agreed and i did.
10. My thoughts? How many other people gmhave they blatantly lied to and scammed out of additional money? What if it had been my mama? She would have paid and had no grocery money. THATS NOT RIGHT!!!! Please educate yourself about your auto so you can ask the right questions and never ever believe they have your best interests at heart.
