If you would've asked me a year ago I would've raved about this place. Now... not so much. Literally took months of calling to reach a actual person, & by the time I did it had been too long for them to even speak with me anymore apparently. I call to talk to a nurse and get put through to scheduling who refuses to transfer me. Why am I pushing buttons if you're going to put me through to whoever you see fit anyways. Calls that are never returned. So many problems. As is the case with so many of these places in these underserved areas, they started off really strong and are on their way out really sad.
Wow, reading the reviews I see that my opinion is not a new or unique one. It appears this place has become a problem. Very unfortunate. (My provider left too)
Upstate Family Health Center has very efficient doctors and sometimes the office may be busy but I never leave with questions or doubts about my care. The nurses are very nice and helpful. I recommend this office to anyone looking for a primary doctors office. 10 out of 10 service!
I feel ,I am heard, cared for and I matter. Mentally physically and emotionally. They are veery kind caring and respectful. With each appointment starting with signing in to making my folliw up, next appointment. Life is easier with kindness and people who care. It's called love in this world. I'm witch we need more of in this world. Compassion to care for others.
Horrible malpractice
Honestly they don’t care the only doctor that ever cared was Jamie Blume.
I’m always ignored I barely ever get call backs and I’m dealing with what doctors think is a blood clout … since February whether it is or not I’m not being informed of anything. Just random made up things. I’m making a petition!!!
I agree with all the reviews as far as the negative phone comments..I have been coming to this place with my mom and myself since it was built..I loved all my Drs. But unfortunately you have no regard for former patients and leave us hanging with no appts or treatments..The Drs for some reason never stay there and this disrupts our care in a very critical way..Unfortunately I am having to seek out another primary and this upsets me to no end..Also besides the phone issue, the billing department is probably the worse I have ever seen..All in all, I loved my physicians and the nurses. Now you need to do something with your management….If for some reason you ever get Ryan Young or Valerie Yager back you can give me a call…This is a very very sad departure for me..

Always knowledgeable and friendly. They even set my car rides up for me. I liked it so much I now have my primary there.
I would not hesitate on recommending anyone to go there.
This place used to be very good but now is very frustrating. They don't answer calls or return messages. If you need refills you wait weeks and it does not matter how many times you call. I finally went somewhere else.
Update: so my husband & I have new doctors. Upstate left a message last week saying they saw he needed refills and which meds was he out of. Now it was over 2 months that he needed refills at that time transitioning to a new dr. I understand Dr. DiMaria left abruptly but that was in September and nobody returned repeated calls or messages about bloodwork or meds that were needed for months and now at this point someone is calling about refills? I do not understand this place at all and glad to have gone elsewhere.
Dr Salisbury is the worst Dr ever. She doesn’t give refills on time and doesn’t listen to her patients and takes medication away for no good cause. She want to send me to physical therapy without even knowing what is wrong. She wouldn’t even look at my hip or anything. Ive lost 25 lbs and she doesn’t even care. She walked out on me cause I didn’t agree w her . So she just left the appointment without even looking at me. She been my doctor for almost a year and never even put hands on me. Shes a liar too.
