I am extremely dissatisfied with the care that the company showed me and my package. I had ordered a package of live fish. I ordered them UPS next day air to ensure that they arrived alive. I was informed that the package was delayed and it wouldn't get to me until the next day. Upon looking at the packages location I saw that the package was located 15 minutes away from my home. I contacted the company and asked if I could pick the package up so that the fish did not die. They informed me that the package was at the warehouse and would not be sent out until the next day and denied that I could come get the package. I again reiterated that the package is live fish and I was willing to go get them to ensure the safety of the fish and they again refused to let me get them. I was told to just hope they were alive the next day when they arrived and if they weren't then to file a damaged package claim. Terrible customer service
Driver left a note on my door saying a signature was needed for 2 packages. He checked the box saying I could have it delivered to a neighbors house if I left the address on the back of the note he left and put it back in the same spot he left the note. So I did. The neighbor was staying home all day. I just got a notification say "sorry we missed you we will try to deliver tomorrow." That tells me 1 of 2 things the driver didn't look to see if I did as instructed or didn't even stop to deliver. When you agreed to take the job you agreed to the job responsibilities that job requires. DO YOUR JOB!!
Extremely terrible horrible service. Maybe the people who work there are just daft. I am so frustrated with Jefferson city UPS. They make a very simple thing so complicated. Had a package that needed a signature, the driver put a sticker on the door saying pick up the package at the access point the next day which I was grateful as that's the best course of action. I went to the access point and they don't have my package. For days the driver still has my package. I dont know what in the world he is doing with it. After 6 days I go back to the access point and they still don't have my package. I have to go across the street to be told something else. At this point I don't know where my package is. For your sanity, please use a different service. UPS in Jefferson city is just garbage.
Use literally any other shipping service. I BEG OF YOU, FOR THE SAKE OF YOUR SANITY. Terrible service. If I could rate lower I would. Every single package is late. I get an email the day they should arrive (20-30 minutes after the delivery window starts) saying I was not home and they will try again tomorrow. Despite the fact that I work from home, and live on a quiet road and would notice if the UPS driver came down the street. This has happened multiple times. Once, after the 2nd time of this happening, I asked them to send my package to the local UPS Store so I could pick it up there. They then lost that package. I filed a complaint (after hours of arguing with their “customer service representatives”) and they told me they would follow up with me within a few days to fix the issue. Surprise. They never did. I have started sitting in front of the window waiting for my invisible UPS delivery driver and only rarely does he appear to deliver my packages on the day they are scheduled to arrive. I honestly use any other shipping provider whenever given the chance. I am so disappointed in their customer service and their shipping services in general. I have lived in many different states and never had a problem with UPS before, which leads me to believe it’s because of more than sub-par employees. Since they won’t seriously follow-up on my complaints, I hope that this review helps others in Jefferson City to give their business to LITERALLY ANY OTHER SHIPPING PROVIDER IN THIS TOWN.
I only gave them a star, because I could not give them a zero. They deserve zero stars for driver and zero for office for no way to file a meaningful complaint. If you have a dog of any kind do not use UPS in Western Jefferson City! The driver will not come down to our house if our very friendly dogs are outside at all. He will also not admit why he did not deliver your package. He will stamp your package rejected or undeliverable, so UPS will not give you any notice of this and they will send your package back. We have had important time sensitive business packages returned, but the last straw was when they returned my chemotherapy medication. I am now going to have to wait/be off my needed cancer medication for at least a week!
I ordered a toy for my nephew's first birthday to arrive on a Friday. Of course the shipper requested a signature for a nine dollar plastic toy. Unfortunately I didn't know this til after work. I went down to ups and they explained the driver wasn't expected to get back til an hour after closing, but they told me I came back at that time to the bay doors someone could help me. They even went as far as to call me to let me know the driver was back. When I got there it quite a bit of searching but they ended up finding it. They did a lot for someone (me) how should of just ordered something sooner, and I really appreciate that!
I left a review 4 months ago but yet continue to have packages left on a public road a mile from our residence on occasion. The Center manager will not address the issue.
I have received deliveries to my house for over 22 years and last week a driver crossed the bridge breaking his mirror. Substantially they have refused to deliver our packages leaving them on the edge of a public road 1/2 mile from the house by the bridge. They are abandoning the packages with no notice to us.
6 days ago I was told I would get a call back from Jake or another supervisor by the end of the day from the Jefferson City UPS. After a couple reminders I still have not received a call back. The State bridge inspectors approved the bridge and even a semi truck crossed it without breaking his mirror.
What started out frustrating turned out well in the end. Sharon at the jc district center was wonderful. She solved the problem fast . Thanks to her the rating went up.
