Felt odd…
came to dine in with my family on 5/26/24 and this was our experience at this restaurant…
We had the option to dine outside so we chose to eat outside where they were playing live jazz music, our table was set up right where the sun was hitting us and we had two children and a baby they didn’t even gave us a high chair the baby was extremely uncomfortable with the sun on her face so I kindly ask to be replaced to a spot with shade the waitress went inside to ask someone about that then she came back out with the most sarcastic old guy and judging by his face he was definitely annoyed that he had to replace us I feel bad I really didn’t mean no trouble I explained that the kids specifically the baby was uncomfortable and not only I apologized as well I thanked him multiple times and not ones he smiled and the only thing he said was “yep anything for YOU guys”, I looked around and I noticed everyone there were older white people and not a single one was sitting in the sun they were placed in the shade or used the table umbrella, as a Hispanic family I started to feel slightly uncomfortable but that didn’t ruined our day and our meal, I don’t know maybe I was overthinking. But the best part was when the jazz lady came over to say hi to our baby, she was wonderful very lovely lady and incredible voice.
Uno has been gone from Connecticut for so long now, but I was excited to learn that now I live close to Massachusetts, there’s a location about 20 minutes from me. The pizza was absolutely delicious and tastes just like I remember! The service was fast and friendly and since we were there pretty late, it was very quiet as the restaurant wasn’t busy. Some of my favorite menu items are long gone, but the pizza is STILL superb! Can’t wait to go back!
have been loving their gluten free pizza since childhood. love that they don’t get my family and i sick - we have celiac
UNO’s is one of our favorite pizza restaurants but today the pizza was not right. We got a cheese pizza and they put the sauce on top and when I went to check if there was cheese underneath, the cheese wasnt melted. There was so much sauce it was hard to eat. I spent $55 for horrible food.
Server was great. Food was as expected. Enjoyed our lunch. Place could use some upgrades tho. Booth seat was worn through and the table's finish was old and sticky.
Comforting and extremely filling, there's nothing like good deep dish pizza, and Uno's are the best. From the rich pie crust to the fresh mozzarella and tangy tomato sauce, every bite will leave an unforgettable impression on your tastebuds. Their pizzas are cooked just right, with the cheese and sauce in the right proportion to their signature crust, and each slice is neither burnt nor undercooked. $10 gets you a personal size pizza and a salad, unsurpassable value for your money.
My star rating is based on the time of day of my visit. Your rating will vary on your arrival time also. I had an excellent tasty pizza. The only con was that the parchment paper they use is too thin. So as the as you can tell from the photo.
You may end up eating some paper.
Top notch franchise! Great food, service, and hospitality. Bathrooms are super clean. There is plenty of spacious parking. Plan to return over and over!!! Basketball Hall of Fame is onlt a 60-second walk away.
