I usually get my hair cut by Aleka but have also received a cut from Daysha and have had great experiences from both! There are not any curly haircut specialists in my area and making the drive to Unleashed has been worth it every time. They’re really knowledgeable about styling natural hair and I love how my hair looks so much more now that I’ve started going there!
I walked out HAPPY thanks to Daysha! I thought I knew how to take care of my curly hair (besides getting regular trims). I hate going to salons and walking out mad, so my hair was in desperate need for a trim. I wanted tighter curls, more shine and volume, and no more split-ends. Daysha made me feel comfortable and told me everything she was going to do with my hair, based on what results I wanted. She told me about each product and what it does. I now know how to take care of my hair and the right way to dry it. I've never left a hair salon feeling good about my curls. I'm a happy girl today with shiny curls.
My experience here was wonderful! I got a curly hair cut & curly hair style! Aleka really knows what she is doing. She's so knowledgable about curly hair! She made me feel comfortable, we talked the entire time about so many things! This was truly a refreshing experience for me. Her salon space is clean and her staff is great! I recommend this place 1 million percent. Please go here if you have curly hair don't let any one damage those beautiful curls God gave you! :)!
I had such a great experience with Daysha. She listened to what I wanted and made it happen. I didn’t want to lose the length of my hair but I wanted it shaped well, because I hate when my curly hair makes a triangular shape (flat on top and puffy on the bottom). She did such a great job!! I haven’t loved my hair in such a long time and she gave me great curly hair advice! Thank you Daysha and Aleka! We need you both here in Naples, FL!
I’ve been going to this salon since they were at a different location and I love the shape Aleka cuts into my hair which is what kept me coming back. I love the space, atmosphere and how on time the appointments run. Until she switched over to using one product line exclusively which didn’t carry a curl mousse (which she got me hooked on using when going with another brand) i also loved the product recommendations and how my style lasted after the appointments. At this point, I have unfortunately decided to no longer patronize this business. As prices kept going up I didn’t expect the quality of my hair care would go down. The last 2 cuts I received my hair was cut way too short. During the consultation I ask for my curls to be just at or slightly below my shoulders. It was cut 1-2 inches above my shoulders both times. I request my hair be styled with volume over definition but have left with it styled super defined and flat (which makes it look longer). I also got highlights and they are stripey and not at all blended when I pull my hair back. All of this has never been a problem until recently. Not sure why but I can’t justify paying premium prices (and being up charged for having thick curly hair at a curly hair speciality salon) to go home and have to style my hair before I come and re-style my hair after the appointment and be upset every time I look in the mirror about the length and color job. It will take MONTHS to grow back and I’m going to have to pay someone else to fix the highlights. I am willing to sacrifice the deposit I paid for my next appointment (before I realized how short my hair was when styled properly) and not risk another botched cut. It seems my type of curls don’t fit the clientele anymore which is unfortunate. If you have either kinky type hair or more fine wavy hair this salon is great but for those of us with patterns in the 3B range I would keep looking.
Aleka is my person. When you finally find your person it’s like a celebration of life! Aleka is fun, professional, communicative, talented and just an all round lovely human. I drive 3 hours round trip to have Aleka do my hair and it’s worth it every time. Highly recommend.

I have been seeing Aleka for several curly cuts now and my hair has been transformed from frizzy waves to really pretty shorter curls! I keep catching myself smiling a lot when I look in the mirror and see my hair. I haven't been this pleased with a haircut and stylist in a long time! Aleka is kind and listens to my concerns with each visit and provides great education on hair care and communication regarding appointments.
