I went to this place for a quick bite to eat and despite living within the area I have NEVER been here before so here are my honest opinions:
Food: Great! Since I am greedy sometimes and so I ordered a large plate of fish fillets and shrimp. The food was cooked well and it tasted good. None of what I ordered tasted like old grease or had any burnt portions. Everything was fresh and I did not have to wait an excessive amount of time.
Customer Service: Good. The workers didn't seem cheerful which is not a big deal for me. They were not rude or dismissive and the guy taking my order displayed professionalism. I saw the cashier and I saw two other people briefly. When my order was ready I was offered napkins but when I checked my bag I was not given any utensils. I'm greedy but not messy.
Atmosphere: Okay. There were no tables or chairs if you want to dine in. I am not sure if this place works like this but if you want to sit and eat there you can forget it. Not a big deal for me but I did question why they didn't have any. It was not packed when I went so it wasn't noisy and there were no rude or rowdy people. To be fair it was well into the evening but I was wondering just how busy it gets during the day?
Prices: They seem fair to me. I ordered two large plates, one with fish fillets and the other with butterfly shrimp which came up to about $25. I think it was worth the price. I have attached pictures below of what I experienced and ordered.
Final Verdict: I give them a 4.5 out of 5.
These were the biggest crawfish I ever saw! The entire sacks were full of lobsters. Only about 5 dead ones across 3 sacks. Definitely a quality supplier at a great price ($2.75). I will definitely get sacks here again, no doubt about it!
Came to grab a bite to eat and saw one of my old classmates as well! She took my order, her name is michelle!!! Loved the service and she is an amazing worker ❤️ also the food was amazing and loved the restaurant! Definitely coming back
This is where you want to get your red beans on a Monday from. Literally will order anything off the menu and be pleased with it. I like their shrimp, fish and chicken! The service is wonderful too. Everyone is ALWAYS pleasant and polite. I hope University Seafood is open forever.
I had about 2 pounds of crawfish and 2 eggs and sum corn the corn was pretty unflavored and kinda overcooked the crawfish was pretty good sum of the bigger ones where hard but don’t suck the heads as much cause it can get pretty spicy but definitely not lacking flavor, lastly the eggs where delicious ???? I will definitely be coming back
The crawfish is really good. The only thing I don’t like is every time I go the crawfish is dirty like they are not cleaning them thoroughly. I’ve been more than 10 times and dirty every time Other than that it’s a great spot
They have the best crawfish, hands down but I think it would make sense to have them ready when opening vs having people go for nothing then have to go back hours later. Just call first so you know.
Full of flavor. Our new go to. Just enough spice and sooo juicy. If you pinch dem tails and suck dem heads, you will enjoy!
