Best KPortal Reviews
My usual stop for take-out Hmong food when there are deals going on. The food is consistently made and the order is always correct when picking up. The staff is fast to respond to me as a customer. Plenty of parking available and relatively safe to stop by to dine-in or grab a drink.
We did take out (call to order ahead of time)
*The deep fried intestines is 5/5 for us. My husband enjoyed it very much.
*Drunken Noodles 5/5! It’s very flavorful and the noodles were soft. I love drunken noodles so whatever place that has drunken noodles, I 100% will order them.
*Jumbo deep fried shrimps 3/5
*Deep fried chickens 4/5
*Cheese wonton 4/5
This review is for Unison.
I give it a 2/5 stars because the host/waitresses works hard. This review is not based on just 1 or 2 times that I've eaten there. I've tried their entire menu more than a handful of times. The only reason why we go there is because my fiance likes their chicken feet.
Okay, so I don't usually post about my experiences. However, this has happened multiple times that I've been to this restaurant. I have tried many times to give them the benefit of the doubt but I swear, every time I go it just disappoints more and more.
The food is never consistently the same. The dish that I ordered today was the Nam Pork ribs BUT there were no ribs, only pork belly. I also ordered their papaya salad and found a piece of hair in there. It is not mine because the hair is too short and I have dirty blonde hair. This is not the first time I've found hair in my food at this restaurant.
I've decided to post this not to bash on the owner or the business, but in hopes that they can improve. Please encourage your cooks to wear hair nets. And please also make sure that your food is consistent.
Food use to be good. Don't know what happened. Last time I went their pork belly laab was not the same.
Their takeout is a hit or miss. Sometimes you get good portion of food. Sometimes the portion is so small it wasn't worth the price.
The laaab is $16+ and this is what I got. They stack the food ao it looks a lot but when you grab some, you'll notice how little the food was. It was mostly herbs. So disappointed. Probably will not order again.
Awesome food !!!!!!!
The service was fast and friendly, if you're in the area I highly recommend stopping in for a bite to eat !!!
They have a seating at the bar as well as a large area in the restaurant.
They have a large banquet room attached to the bar restaurant as well, where they have parties, live bands, weddings and gatherings as well as weekly cornhole which is a lot of fun..
We had the drunken noodles and the pad Thai with a side of egg rolls..
The noodles are always amazing and the whole menu is always great..
I love them spicy and they can make them really spicy if you ask for it...
Lots of parking in the front of the restaurant.
I stop here every few months and am never disappointed.. Love this place..
If you're in the area, definitely stop in and check it out.. You won't be disappointed..
They also offer delivery or pickup as well..
Good pho, broth flavor didn't have too much depth but I did enjoy the pork belly in the pho, that was a new experience for me. If you need a pho pick me up this will satisfy you.
My favorite go to place for Hmong food. I always order their pork belly laab, Papaya salad (not pictured), and pho (also not pictured because i was too hungry to wait). We also ordered their combo fried rice here and there which taste good as well.
Went on a Friday Night. Had a great time here. Especially being our first time. Service was quicker than expected, because our initial wait time was 45mins but we got seated in 10mins. Food was good. The mango and Papaya salad was amazing. The fried intestines could be better if it wasn't over fried, i prefer less crunchy and a bit more chewy and texture, but flavor was good. The crispy pork belly laab was new to me and I thought it was amazing! There was a full house, luckily we found parking in the back. It was a nice crowd. The guests all seem friendly and everyone had a great time dancing and interacting. Staffs were friendly and fast. DJ had great music playlist.
