Be advised that if you want growth and healing care for your hair, then you need to make an immediate appointment, I've been there since I moved to Delaware 15 years ago, my daughter and myself. Every time I've strayed off to braids, I return to have to receive healing for my spirit and my hair. I have natural hair. Ask for Mrs Phyllis, and she will provide you with her healing hands for your spirit and your hair.

My first time at Unique Touch was a great experience. Phyllis is professional and very friendly. She did a great job on my 4c hair. I will definitely be returning.????????????????

Mrs.Phyllis is a very professional and genuine hair stylist. She is timely , down to earth and creates a welcoming environment. When I first walked in her business I could tell she takes pride in the appearance and atmosphere of her place. I felt comfortable when I first walked in to when I left. Also, she worked a miracle on my hair. I have locs and have been doing my own hair maintenance since quarantine started. When she saw me I had gaps in my hair due to poor twisting methods which caused my hair to look like it was thinning. Needless to say Ms.Phyllis blessed my hair with her special touch and really came through for me. I highly recommend her services and am looking forward to seeing her again.

I have a regular salon I go but due to my work schedule I came to the unique touch with a last minute appointment and they accommodated me...I've went to both Miss Phyllis and Jontu to do my hair on separate occasions and both of these ladies did a great job ! ......While I still remain loyal to my regular hair dresser, this place will be indeed my back up. They do just as good job as my regular girl. I'm just loyal other wise this would be my go to spot....As a black woman who lives in Newark ,De its hard to find a spot to do my hair and the Unique Touch exceeded my expectations. I def. recommend

I had a wedding to go to 7 years ago and my regular hairdresser couldn't take me. My girlfriend recommended this place. I have been coming ever since! The environment is clean, the hairdressers are professional and flexible. Phyllis is my hairdresser and she doesn't just "do" my hair, she takes care of it!

I can't say enough about Unique touch! I called late afternoon on Wed, with lot's of questions & concern about my 10yr old daughter's hair & also looking for a Saturday morning appt. They took my number, said they'd return my call shortly, and that's exactly what Talaura did! Talaura went above and beyond, and outta her way, With questions of her own, and wanted to see a pic of her, hair color to match, and texture for best conditioning recommendations, so to better serve my daughter's hair needs, & my concerns... she then in turn, sent braid suggestions for her along with pricing...which was reasonable... Phyllis whom I believe is the shop owner, was welcoming,beautiful smile with a thoughtful personality to match! I finally found the right place for daughter! Looking forward to our next appointment!

I got a card my aunt gave my from a lady named Latoya Marie and she hooked my babygirl up so nice. She gave me few tips and tricks to keep for hair health and moist. I will defiantly be returning for my baby girls hair and mine as well.

I called and spoke with the receptionist, letting her know I needed a short cut and style for that day. She told me to come in, and they would be able to squeeze me in. Once I got there, the main stylist said she was booked, and the other stylist said it would be 45mins-1hr wait. If the receptionist knew they were booked up, that information should have be explained to me before I drove 30mins for absolutely nothing. Very Unprofessional!
