Just had my hair cut by Shelly. From the wonderful massaging shampoo, the cut, and blow dry, I felt pampered. Received a compliment about how nice my hair looked from my neighbor when I was out walking. The staff at Unique Factor always greet you with a smile????
I went for a haircut, Shelly cut me more than I told her. i wanted to keep my long hair. I asked for only four fingers I could cut but it cut like 12. i had my hair for my pompi and now I feel super awful with my super short hair. She didn't even make the way I showed her in the photo. super disappointed and the worst thing is I can't go back my hair. It was my first time going there. i'm definitely not coming back.

Caring, personable, compassionate in styling hair. She is one of the best stylist in the city of Pittsburgh. I am returning as a client and so recommend"Unique Factor" ! If you are looking for last minute gifts or stocking stuffers or something out of the ordinary to give to someone who likes higher end hair care products, you could definitely get some nice things here or put together an impressive basket. And they always seem to have a couple different styling tools to choose from, wet brushes, hair oils, etc
All of the operators at this salon do a fantastic job, especially my hairdresser, Kathleen!!!! She took my baby fine, limp hair and turned it into a miracle!! I get many compliments from the cut and color Kathleen gave me!!
Very friendly staff and reasonably priced hair cuts, hair coloring and beauty products. I'm warning you on one thing, don't buy the large aerosol hair spray stuff. If you drop it on the floor and it hits the nozzle, it will bend and start spraying uncontrollably all over the place. I recommend getting the stuff with the sprayer nozzle that is similar to the sunscreen spray nozzles. Very clean and sanitary. And friendly manager.
