Since recent changes, middle of the night train horns have become disruptive. Many residents are losing sleep. While safety is paramount, quieter horns, reinstate quiet zones, or adjusted schedules during late hours would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for considering the community's well-being.
Not sure if there are new people working or there was a policy change, but the horn goes for all hours of the night. I understand this is a safety precaution. I've lived in the area for about 5 years now though and this last week has been very extra. Going all the way until 1am and starting up again as early as 5am. I'm not sure who the best contact is regarding this or to find out more as to why this is happening more recently. This was the best thought I could think of. It really is effecting the residents surrounding and need to find a solution to minimize this.
There’s a clown blowing the whistle 10 times every minute all night. Not to mentioned that they’re always blocking the road at all times in Springville and Provo.
For the last couple weeks some union clown who works for this company feels like it's necessary to blow the horn 10 times per minute between about midnight and 1am every night. It's completely ridiculous and completely unnecessary. There's not that many crossings in the whole county. It's after midnight right now and the horn has been blowing every few seconds for 20 minutes. Figure it out.

This company has been such a burden to Provo residents. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve missed my train to work and how much of my precious time has been wasted because the Union Pacific train has gotten in the way and stops on the track between the Provo Station and the pedestrian crossing area, thus blocking our access to the station. This needs to stop. I have people who depend on me both at work and at home. Please find a way to work with the city to make sure this kind of thing doesn’t happen anymore.
