All I can say is that this shop is one of southern Oregon’s best kept secrets. The guys that work and run it are some of the best mechanics and machinists in town. I’m never taking one of my projects anywhere else.
I am happy to recommend Union. I had our Subaru at another repair shop in town, and when I received their estimate for replacing head gasket, timing belt etc., I was shocked by the $3,500 price. When I checked parts prices on the estimate, they were triple the cost of good, name brand, waranteed parts. I then started checking other shops, and moved the car to Union. The car was repaired perfectly there, in just 3 days. The cost was substantially lower, with top quality parts used. They were a pleasure to deal with. They are honest, knowledgeable, reliable, and fairly priced.
We had them rebuild my son's engine, which we brought into the shop in pieces. They are very knowledgeable and took the time to explain and answer any questions we had. Their rate was very reasonable and finished the job quickly. Would definitely recommend this shop.

These guys are just great. I brought my cylinder for honing and they were kind enough to squeeze the job in their busy day. They did it the same day and at an unbeatable price. Next is my OEM crankshaft for rebuild. You got my business!
They are very prompt and went above and beyond their duty to complete the task at hand. I recommend them to anyone who needs machine work done and the prices are unbeatable. Very satisfied with union machine shop.
