Went two times, two days apart. First day service was excellent. Second day service was adequate. Both days, food was fantastic.
Staying at Turkey Run State Park and went kayaking. Worked up an appetite so decided to google restaurants to go to. Found this little gem in Marshall Indiana. Super cute and quaint. It’s filled wall to wall with antiques and unique features. It really takes you back in time. I had the Philly cheesesteak which was phenomenal!! I have never had one like this one before and I have eaten a lot of them. It was more like roast or pulled beef. The arch burger was good, I’m just not a fan of bbq sauce. Our server Lexi was so cute and sweet. So if you’re looking for a cute little place to eat it’s worth the drive into Marshall.
My wife and I stop by there, just by chance. Our meals were really good and affordable. We had great service and just enjoyed to surroundings. I had a fried bologna sandwich, with fries, soup, and salad bar. I do not see that on other menus and it really took me back. I would definitely stop in there again.
It is definitely a cute little place to visit in a very small town. Their chicken is on the Indiana fried chicken tour (I think there are 12 restaurants that share in this honor). The breading is flavored nicely and adds to the reason they are on the tour. Salad and chili were included in our meal and both were good and tasty. I would recommend the corn fritters as an appetizer, although I wish the butter that comes with it wasn't so hard. I was disappointed in mashed potatoes (not for sure, but tasted like they may have been instant). On your way out you have the option of purchasing fudge. I didn't purchase or try any, but that doesn't mean I didn't want to try some. :) It all looked good.
This is a great restaurant. Very quaint place. The serves and staffs are very friendly. The setting is quaint! Very clean. The food is great. I had the Arch Burger w/ one of my friends and it was very tasty. The Arch sauce that came on the burger great. It's a wonderful small restaurant restaurant at a small town of Marshall. If you're looking for place that's outside of norm, this is a great place to go!
Really always enjoy this place. Arch burger and onion rings are a must have. The buffet on Friday night is good too. Catfish is excellent! Fun decor..sort of hick/hip. Have had slow service sometimes, but usually pretty good. Parking very limited. All in all, a good experience.
Surprised at the quality of the food in this little town restaurant. Usually the food is so-so in such places, but we just stopped by while traveling one evening and we were pleased with how fresh the salad bar was, how tender and yummy the fried chicken was, the smothered chicken breast was delicious...all quite good. I didn't rate it 5 stars because the men's room was pretty smelly and needed a good overhaul.
