Uncle Nick's Gyros lives up to its reputation as the go-to spot for mouthwatering gyros in town. The recommendation from a long-time local was spot on, as the gyro burger I ordered was simply delicious, staying true to its promise. If you're in the mood for a satisfying gyro experience, look no further than Uncle Nick's!
The place is a walk up only. No dinning room. U simply order and go wait in your car. They bring you your meal to the car.

The Italian beef is the best in town and they will dunk it for you if you like it soggy but great either way. Parking can sometimes be difficult because they stay busy. Of course you have to get the baklava for dessert
If your from Rockford you know uncle nicks is the best… it’s an experience… so many memories here. The food is fresh and hot … the baklava is GREAT!!!!! If your from out of town - try this place. Not too many places like this around anymore
Open late and great food for a great price. No dine-in available at this location. The baclava is one of my favorite desserts in town. Great stop for a late night weekend snack with a security guard on site or a cheap lunch To-go during the week. The menu has a large variety including their famous gyro's. I've been going here for over 10 years and it never gets old.

Someone vouged for this uncle nicks in comparison to the other one on state they clearly didn't know what they were talking about. I don't know how but both of my gyros were cold absolutely ridiculous. When I received my food it was cold just the gyros the other deep fried items were fine. But it's extremely disappointing that I had to microwave what should of been fresh made food so disappointed will never go to this location again
Had a gyro burger for the first time. It was huge! Enough for 3 meals. It was really tasty!
It your typical counter service walk-up. But the food was AMAZING!! We had Italian beef (wet for me! ) with fries. It was one of the best I've had. Also, if you like gyro my BFF says it's the only place in town to go!! It's a must try!!
