Always friendly staff. Food Always great prices reasonable they cook fish and chips traditionally non of this whitening stuff. i recommend people try the pea fritters. They are so moreish my father will only have fish and chips from here .fish also white and batter spot on.we travel from the other side of Leeds a 1 hour round trip. Food Always cooked fresh and therefore hot .mum loves the curry sauce. we have never had a bad experience at this establishment hence five stars. Keep up the good work........see you soon ????????

Atmosphere marked low as was in there minutes so hard to grade. Will definitely use again.
Best fish and chips I’ve had in a while. The staff are so friendly and lovely to chat with while you wait make you feel really welcome, will definitely be visiting again

Stumbled across this little place. Popped in for a spam and pea fritter and got some lovely complimentary chipsies on the side. Will definitely be our go to in Otley

Rather curiously they had two signs in the window. One said:
'PAYMENT by
CASH ONLY'
the other sign said
'CASH or Bankcard accepted',
I asked the lady taking the orders for food behind the counter what these two differing signs meant, and she said
' You can use your bankcard but it's CASH Only'
After 2 or 3 minutes of this surreal conversation, and being unable to get any sense out of the lady, I told her that I still didn't understand, so I asked her again,
'Is it CASH ONLY or do you accept bankcards? It can't be both', I said. The lady replied, with a huge grin on her face:
'It's whatever you want it to be!'
This lady and the person who was frying the fish and standing next to her then burst into very loud, sustained, high-pitched and hysterical fits of laughter, at my confusion.
Needless to say I didn't hang around, but went somewhere else to buy my dinner.
Uncle Joe has clearly lost his marbles.
Not giving any stars as terrible reheated dark mushy chips! Wish i had taken pic! Worst fish&chips in my life and im 64.
Best fish and chip shop for miles around. Chips always well done, properly cooked not like some that leave them pale and bland.
Spam fritters are fab. Staff always friendly.
Only slight downside is cash only, but cash machine in Sainsbury's next door.
