Best KPortal Reviews

This was my first time trying Singaporean food and it was so good! The restaurant also excellent service, the staff were friendly, and the food came out fast. I definitely recommend their roti as an appetizer, and their Laksa Mee and their Singaporean Fried Rice as entrees.
great Indonesian food.. recommended.
nice ambience, some of the decoration bring me back some memories of good old days Indonesian street food staffs.
All meals we had: laksa, satay, kwe tiau, ayam geprek... all delicious and authentic. I believe all other meals are delicous too.
Interior is nice, modern, clean and fully renovated unlike other restaurant that looks old fashioned.
tumbs up! this kind of restaurant will bring Indonesian food well known.
I had NEVER heard of this cuisine before. Food was delicious, everything was good. The workers were so nice. Great first experience. The skewers plate we ordered had a fusion feel to it like Indian & Thai. So good!! Plenty of parking.
First time trying this type of food and it was delicious! Worth it with so many flavors of Southeast Asia (Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore) the Satay plate was packed with flavor of salty soy sauce and delicious peanut sauce. The Roti Canai was spicy and the curry sauce that it comes had a delicious coconut base. The Teh Tarik was refreshing and amazing. Will definitely be back.
Uncle Fung was a very good Southeast Asian restaurant (Malaysian, Indonesian & Singaporean), Very authentic.
We ordered Nasi Lemak, Singaporean Laksa, &
Roti.
Skip the Roti, very expensive $9.99 for 2 thin slices of bread (large order).
Extra condiment for the Nasi Lemak was $2.00. Outrages!!!
For all the comments from abive, we stilk like Uncle Fung. It had changed hands since we dined there about 6 months ago.
Uncle Fung provides a casual dining experience inspired by a street vendor. The Cornish Game Hen was very tender and flavorful. Their Char Sui was also very tasty in the stir fried noodle dishes. Two entrees came up to around $30 and the portion size was perfect for a quick bite for lunch.
We absolutely loved our meal at Uncle Fungs Borneo restaurant. The place is colorful and lively, and the service was excellent. We both ordered the Borneo rice plate, and it was one of the best dishes I’ve ever had. The rice plate had a fragrant coconut rice with a spicy curry sauce, chicken, beef, sausage, egg, and vegetables. The flavors were complex and balanced, and the portions were huge. I also liked the complimentary soup that came with the meal. It was a feast for the senses and the stomach. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to try something different and delicious. 5/5 stars.
Very nice Malaysian food that is rare to find. Long Beach outpost is adding to the local diversity. Food is tasty and come out quick and fresh. Strip mall setting makes the atmosphere generic and is a disservice to great food. A small effort in decorating would enhance the experience a lot. Do not come here for the ambience but for the food and you will not be disappointed.
