We stopped here after a visit to Bass Pro Shop since it was connected , if I was a kid I would of loved this place it was like finding Nemo meets the old man and the sea. They had a neat little bowling alley and arcade which was separated from the bar/ dining room which was ideal . The place was clean and the food was served in a timely manner. The waitress was pleasant and complimentary which was appreciated . I ordered the Western burger , the burger was cooked to the right temp, the bacon and onion straws crispy and bun was fresh. The fries were hot and not oily . My wife had the fish tacos with grilled cod and a lime cream sauce . She enjoyed the neutral flavors that weren’t over spiced .. all and all it was a good experience.
Stopping in this past year and continuing. Pricing is reasonable, clean atmosphere, and (food & drinks) always taste fresh each visit. As far as service goes, customer compliance needs more work. Staff seems stress, and not happy to be there . The bar wasn’t to crowded considering 1:30 pm on a rainy Sunday I had to remind the bar tender’s for a 2nd mix drink ????. I decided to settle for a beer , due to its quick and fast
Uncle Buck's Bowl and Grill left much to be desired. The bowling alley was cramped, making the experience uncomfortably crowded. The bar-restaurant area was oddly arranged, and the reliance on a QR code for ordering, with no physical menu or cash option, added an unwelcome layer of inconvenience
The online ordering system even claimed the blue cheese burger was unavailable, leaving us puzzled. However, a visit to the bar revealed otherwise, as we were handed a menu and successfully ordered the supposedly out-of-stock item. The prices, though, were exorbitant – a sticker shock, with a pretzel costing as much as a burger.
The overall cost escalated quickly with a hefty hourly fee for bowling, shoe rental, and a surprisingly expensive lunch bill at the bar. The grand total of $140 for two people felt disproportionate to the experience offered. Uncle Buck's Bowl and Grill, unfortunately, fell short of expectations, both in terms of value for money and overall enjoyment.
Took my family on a Saturday afternoon . It’s about an hour and a 1/2 ride from nyc . Plenty of parking. The decor is beautiful! Definitely an eye catcher . The food and drink menu is a little limited but it has a good enough selection . Everything was a little pricey but The drinks were weak but tasty and the food came out hot and tasted really good .
There was a little issue with our lane and the bumpers but the manager quickly fixed the issue . For a Saturday afternoon it wasn’t too crowded which was a little surprising . Definitely a little treat for the family if you’re in the area but I wouldn’t take the drive out again .
Happy bowing ????
Nice place for bowling ???? and have a quick bite and drinks ????... Friendly bartender Maria does a good job..
Used to love stopping in after shopping in Bass Pro Shop . Never again , they redid the place and it totally went downhill. Service was non existent and u scan code on desk for menu. You pay and tip before finding out how poor the service is , very interesting. Food was not good and the room is dimly lit i guess to hide how dirty it is. DO NOT RECOMMEND as i have in the past
Interesting decor and a neat little bowling alley that makes you feel like you're under water. The food is a little lackluster, however, and service can be a bit slow.
Went with a group early today and had mixed results.
The Alligator appetizer was quite nice, I ordered it with tartar sauce instead of the jalapeno sauce which paired quite nicely.
The Wild Boar is frankly disappointing. They cook it so much that it is very dry when it comes to the table and there was almost no sauce on the burger to help with that. I really would never order it again.
Our appetizers arrived either at the same time as our main dishes or in the some cases at our table after our main dishes. This is really a fumble on the part of the restaurant: appetizers should be arriving first. We were left quite awhile waiting.
Overall mixed feelings about this. The bowling turned out to be nice but I'm not sure if I would eat here again.
Great customer service, I set at the bar while my food was being prepared. The bartender was very polite..But The Food I ordered (fish in Fry's) Had to be the worst I've ever had. .the small 3 fillets were triple breaded to make them look big and the fish tasted like it set in the oil to long and was over cooked or the oil was old .(Pure garbage ) Fry's were ok but had the same taste as bad oil ... I've bought uncle bucks fish flour but never ate at the restaurant.
