Went to Uncle Bob's in the Raven last night for my daughters 30th birthday and had an lovely evening. We were a table of 8, we all had different orders, the food was stunning, good portion size and excellent value. The atmosphere was great, it was a Friday night and the restaurant was full, but the waiting time for food and drinks were minimal. The staff were amazing nothing was to much trouble and they knew the menu and could recommend different dishes. Table service was excellent, staff were friendly and welcoming. If you ever want to eat out where the food is good quality and excellent value I can highly recommend Uncle Bob's, we will definitely be going back again.

My goodness, what a lovely surprise, I called here 2 years ago with visiting family for a meal, and I called in again a few days ago. The food was excellent!! My son, who is over from Canada and is a real foodie, was really impressed, great portions, is well cooked, and really pleasing to the eye. I would recommend 'Uncle Bob's @ The Raven' to anyone looking for a really impressive meal at a great pric3.
Not impressed with my Chicken Korma and Nan Bread I received for the price they charged me. The portion was child size, luke warm and rice under cooked. For £12.95 I was expecting my plate to be more than half full. The meal was flavoursome, but the chicken was sparse and sauce watery. The dish came to table in a cold stainless steel vessel with a half portion of rice on an ice cold huge plate. We waited almost an hour for our food and the restaurant was empty. I will not be eating here again. Very disappointed with the overall experience. ????

We went on a double date with our friend couple here. The food was amazing, portions were big and food placement on the plate was also very nice.
Garlic mushrooms we had for starters were the best I have eaten. Definitely be going here again

Hubby had ribs and I had chicken burger absolutely lush.
We had booked a table as quite a large group for a Sunday dinner. Staff seated us quickly, we went up to the cavalry, plenty of choice of meat and vegetables. Staff catered to us all, we were a mixed of adults, kids and toddler/baby and they were happy to give us a bowl for the younger kids and not charged us. Food was soo lovely, couldn't fault anything. A lovely pub with great good. Recently had a lovely Sunday roast there which was really nice. I would have awarded 5 stars if the chef serving me hadn't been so stressed and rude! That aside, it's really worth going there.
