Great ice cream, but apparently the employees have been told to scoop smaller to save on product. Been there twice this year and 2 scoops now fills the dish the same amount as 1 scoop did in prior years. Just a heads up if you go.
We always search for local homemade ice cream on our hockey adventures and we stumbled upon Uncle Bob’s just in time! They are closing for the season 11/19, but make sure you stop in when they re-open!! Flavors were amazing and no gross after taste. This is legit the real deal. Not too sweet so the flavors don’t get over powered. Super friendly staff and plenty of choices! It’s a must stop even if you are just driving by!
I would give highest recommendation to their in-house made waffle cones! Worth every bite! Great selection of premium hand-dipped ice cream. No frills dining area, but a nice, peaceful, outdoor setting to eat in. Great ice cream!
So many great flavors and all are so good. You will struggle to find a higher quality, better tasting ice cream. Lemon Custard Golden Oreo for the win!!
Even during their opening day, which I imagine is one of their most hectic, we were greeted by smiling faces, diligent workers, and great quality ice cream!
We've never had a bad experience here, love the outdoor area to enjoy our ice cream on hot summer nights!

Good ol’ Uncle Bob. He is the Uncle you never hear of. But when you do, you love him. Well, that’s how I feel about Uncle Bob’s Homemade Ice Cream. I discovered this place while grabbing coffee in Eureka, IL. Oh boy, was it a good discovery. I sampled a few ice creams and loved each one. Conveniently when I was there, they also had dollar hot dogs! So between amazing ice cream and cheap hot dogs, I was in heaven.
If you love ice cream and haven’t visited Uncle Bob’s, do yourself a service and go try some! The do sell Uncle Bob’s ice cream at some local eateries, so keep your eyes peeled if you can’t make it to the Eureka location.
What a fun “found” ice cream shop on our little adventure. Lots of fun flavors and the staff were very helpful and attentive. Location is just off Hiway 24. We’ll be back for another flavor ????
We're just visiting the area and heard this place was good and it's so freaking delicious!!!!! I would come here all the time if I lived here. The staff is friendly and lots of great quality ice cream options. They even have one dairy free option if you can't have dairy! I highly recommend this place and will be coming back on my next visit! ... If not tomorrow ???? One thing to note, is that Google says they close at 10 but they actually close at 9.
