I went in for knotless bohemian braids. After leaving my hair matted really bad and hair came out the braids! It was terrible. The owner had me come back for redo. She started my head but then had another stylist finish because her customer came. It turned out better than before. It was good but hair began to tangle shortly after. I won't get that style again or would have them use better quality of human hair.
And one of the stylist who messed up my head the first time had a ugly attitude and tried to come back in my head the second time to help and I was not having it!
Uma was my braider in michigan i did not go to anyone else very professional and reasonable. Miss her so much. I wouldn't have let anyone else braid my hair if she didn't move. It would be 20 years of her braiding my hair.
I would definitely not recommend Uma she is very unprofessional she portrays to be nice until you don’t like something about your hair now previously when I got my daughter hair braided a few weeks ago she wasn’t there and the women that did my daughter hair were very nice but fast forwarding to yesterday when I told her I didn’t like my braids because they were too close together on one side and spaced out on the other she proceeded to cut all my braids out because I wanted my hair redone on one side saying they didn’t have time and she told me my hair was too short but still proceeded to do my hair anyways. Well guess what I will make time to go pay someone else to do my hair correctly
I called her at 9:30 to see if she could do my hair because the person I had at first didn’t show up she said yes come on. When I got there she started on my head and was done fast my hair is so pretty. Is worth every penny. She made sure I liked my hair before leaving. She was very nice and I will definitely be back!!!
Don’t waste your money with them!!! The first time I got my hair braided with them a week later some of my box braids came out. Went back they fixed it for no charge. I went back to get my daughter hair braided same problem but worst. Call so they can fix my daughters. They told me that they was going to charge me $60 for some box braids that’s only been up for a week in a half. The hair looks like 2months of new growth in 2 weeks of wear. Even my daughter braids was falling out. I feel like that’s a big scam they got going on. That’s the second time I had that problem with them not braiding the hair tight enough Very very upset. I hate for a person to waste there $150 to $200 on box braids. It was 2 ladies that braided our hair at the same time.
I paid $260. My appointment was for 3 then rescheduled to 4 then I sat there to 5:30 before anyone started on my hair. 3 ppl were on my head til 12a.m. I've had my hair up for 10days and it actually looks like it's been up 1 month,two braids has slipped out already and they are all different sizes. Worst experience ever I will not be going back. I will be taking my hair down in two days smh waist of money.
Waste of time and money. I have only had my hair up 3 weeks but looks like 3 months. I have 3 different size braids throughout my head. She stopped several times while braiding my hair to talk on the phone for at least 15 minutes or longer. A lot of my hair is not braided into the braid. I will never go back. Drove over an hour to get my hair done. Waste of my time and my money $200 down the drain
Worst experience ever!!!. She didn’t part my hair straight. Very uneven & rushed job. First day looked like it been up for weeks. Unprofessional. Do not plan on ever returning.
