BEST. SEAFOOD. OF. MY. LIFE. HANDS DOWN. The owner was an absolute delight and was super informative and his customer service was on point. The food was aaaaaaaabsolutley amazing. We took pics after we started eating but we got the lobster rolls and the fisherman’s platter ( I believe that’s what it was called) and it was plenty for 2 people. Everything was cooked fresh and served hot. Never had anything fresher and would recommend over and over again. Thank you so much for your hospitality.
Great place to buy the freshest and quality seafood. Worth the price. They have plenty of seafood options and also have a small joint by the corner where you can enjoy the delicious and freshly made seafood. Helpful staff???????? Place is always clean and do try their fish and chips
Hands down one of the best places to get sushi grade tuna, excellent fresh cod and flounder fish. I made tuna tartar when I got home and it was delicious. The cod and flounder was so easy to cook. The owner was friendly and very helpful with what I needed to buy. I will go there again to buy the fresh fish and I don't mind the ride since I live in west Haven.
Wow! A must-taste! I got the captains combo and it was enough for 2 meals. The seafood was huge! I usually don’t even like Cod, but everything was delicious. The shrimp were succulent, The scallops were mouthwatering. Even the fries were popping! One of the best seafood combos on the CT shoreline. I stumbled upon this place while running errands nearby.
We pre-ordered 4 steamed lobsters for a birthday dinner at home. We needed to adjust the time of pickup earlier in the day and they were very accommodating about the change. The lobsters were freshly steamed and hot when we arrived. The chowder is delicious. Would definitely return. Nice variety of fresh fish.
My friend and I stopped for “fish and chips” and it was great! Freshly done, and we were welcomed to dine in. No, it’s not a “restaurant” but the folks were most friendly and our visit at one of their tables was just fine. YUM! Promised my husband I’d introduce him to Uberti’s soon.
Went to to get fish and chips because I heard good things. The prices were just okay, I could have gotten more somewhere else. The staff was not welcoming and were downright rude. The place looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in months. The owner was there but didn’t seem interested in the customers. I will not be going back and do not recommend anyone to even try. If you’re looking try Monroe Fish Market. It’s a better atmosphere, with caring staff, and it’s clean.
Delicious! We ordered takeout last night and every single thing down to the tartar sauce was excellent! Besides the fish & chips, do yourself a favor & get the stuffed clams.
